THE CHURCH OF OUR LADY OF GRACE AND SAINT MAURICE
Read moreThe visit is to be done! Enter the Jewish door and raise your eyes towards a small Italian organ. Its ornate Baroque decor was classified by Historical Monuments in 1849. The nave, with its late Romanesque vaults, houses statues before each pillar. The golden altarpiece has a central panel dating back to 1480, dedicated to Saint Georges. Side panels (1532) present Saint Maurice, patron of the city. The tomb of white marble (1501) is that of a vice-king of Naples: Estienne de Vesc. A persistent legend says that under the current church, an underground church is buried as high as the visible church.

THE CHAPELS OF THE PENITENTS
Read moreFounded in 1585, the Brotherhood of White Krajina settled near the church Saint-Jean-du-Bourg, between Charity and City hall. The two-tiered façade, perched on the stands of ten steps, is crowned with a moulurée corniche surmounted by a clocher. Note the frise frise and the oculus under the triangular pediment. Still a monument of Roman inspiration. The Black Doubs Chapel is located in front of the DJC, but is now closed to the public, apart from its fragility. If the brotherhood was founded in 1317, the chapel will be built only between 1738 and 1741 by the well-known architect Antoine of German. It is firmly marked by classicism: unique nave, stone facade framed with pilasters, narrow and narrow niches, portal surmounted by a rectangular panel lined with palm trees and an bended pediment.
THE COLLEGE CHAPEL
Read moreThis chapel is now dedicated to art. And what strikes visitors most is its highly harmonious majestic architectural proportions... a wonder behind a fairly discreet façade. Exhibitions are organised there regularly. Suitable for large formats, it is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places to hang out in Vaucluse. You will also find the famous "Salon des santonniers" of the city throughout December.

EGLISE SAINT-PIERRE
Read moreThe village church was built in the late 12th century as an annex to Saint-André de Villeneuve. Later, it became a parish attached to the chapter of Aix Cathedral. The original medieval church was partially rebuilt and enlarged in the 17th century to accommodate a growing population. Work was carried out in 1610 to enlarge the nave and add a bell tower. Over the following centuries, a number of modifications were made, most notably in the 19th century, when the bell tower was raised and the roof replaced. Eighteenth- and nineteenth-century furniture can be seen inside. Although the church is closed, keys can be obtained from the town hall for visits.
