The Romanesque chapel of La Madelène is set in an exceptional location in the southern foothills of Mont Ventoux, at the mouth of the Combe obscure, amid hills covered in pine, cypress and oak trees, opening onto a valley ideal for vine-growing. With its three apses and square bell tower, it is a listed historic monument. Today, it's a private property open only in season and on public holidays, from 2 to 6 pm, or by appointment.
