COGNAC CAMUS
Read moreIn the 1860's, Jean-Baptiste Camus created a group of producers to which he gave his name. Camus cognac quickly made its way into the Café de Paris, the Savoy in London... and even the court of the Tsar of Russia! The prestige of the brand is partly linked to the passion of its founder, who supervised the distillation and ageing of his cognac himself. His great-grandson, Jean-Paul, continues this tradition between man and product. There is no showboating at Camus: the house has defended a beautiful authenticity that has been passed down through the generations for 130 years. The house has always been located on the Camus family's own property, at the Château de Plessis, in the heart of the vineyards, with about 100 hectares of vineyards in Grande Champagne and the Borderies. A house that has become the fifth on the cognac market thanks to passionate winegrowers who have been able to establish and preserve an exceptional know-how. Do not hesitate to go there to discover a place out of time and share a refined meal with of course a tasting of the greatest cognacs, among which for example, the XO Elegance, the VSOP Elegance or the Rarissimes ranges... During the Master blender visit, you will also be able to compose a cognac made to measure and to your image, and leave with your own 50 cl bottle. Various tailor-made tours are offered to discover the spirits of the House of Camus, with a novelty this year, the Camus Rarissimes tour with a tasting of 3 vintage cognacs of your choice.
