Inaugurated in 2007, the Carat Space is the largest modular exhibition structure in the Charente. This sweet giant welcomes in the two large ruby and sapphire rooms (4 500 and 1 000 square metres with a capacity of 7 000 seats on the concert days) all major events or shows organised in the Charente: fairs, forums, congresses and sporting events, but also the most important concerts. The rooms are adapted to all projects. Easy access via the ring road is via the STGA bus network.

The Pub Gabariers is the perfect place to relax by the river on the pleasant terrace in this corner of the Charente, between small villages, walks and the river history of locks and the gabarre. The Rancho, renamed La Petite Folie in March 2014, is almost transfigured. A central bar in the large room and a small private dining room, the establishment is always overlooked by large stone vaults making it an exceptional club. The clientele is young, between 25 and 35 years old, and the club organizes many special evenings. If you want a more comfortable atmosphere, the VIP square is available for reservation. This 100-seat theater has been offering immersive, intimate performances by the Angoulême puppet company for over 30 years. The passion of the actor-puppeteers is visible and contagious. The puppets and sets are made in the company's own workshop. The lighting and costumes plunge the audience into the unbridled universe of the theater's revisited fairy tales or original creations. A fantastic outing for families, schools or communities, where children feel free and enjoy participating.

This racecourse is open to both gallop and trot, with a 1,550-meter grass flat track, a 3,000-meter grass show jumping track and a 1,000-meter sand trotting track with right-hand rope.

The Hippodrome de Luxé is a racecourse located in Luxé, in the town of La Châtaigneraie.

A pleasant atmosphere where the Chaniérauds (inhabitants of Champniers) give themselves an appointment for a drink or lunch.
