Thirteen kilometers of fine sandy beach await you at 10 beaches! Among our favorites, the Central beach. It is the beach of the city center of the resort. This large sandy beach located between the Maupas pond and the Aunis pavilion is supervised. It is very busy, because of its proximity to the center. The beach Sainte-Anne, located in the district of La Grière, is a supervised beach in July and August, offering a beautiful view on La Faute-sur-Mer.

La Tranche-sur-Mer can boast several labels highlighting the qualities of this seaside resort on the South Vendée coast. It has the label Famille Plus, which qualifies the welcome and services offered to families and specifically to children. The tourist office will help you to organise your holidays: tide times, leisure activities to be enjoyed and in particular water sports such as surfing, accommodation, restaurants, market days, calendar of events and concerts during the season.

On 8,000 m², the Cyel brings together the Conservatory, the School of Art and an exhibition space dedicated to contemporary art. Its ambition is to offer young people and adults the possibility of learning about artistic practices and discovering works and artists. Designed by the architect Daniel Rubin, the building has a 297-seat auditorium with a single-storey stage, 59 music classrooms, 2 theatre studios, 2 dance studios and 6 rooms for the Art School. The auditorium also hosts concerts and shows for young audiences.
