Automobile Museum of Vendée located in Talmont-Saint-Hilaire, housing vehicles from 1885 to the prototypes of the future

A collection started in 1939 by a family of enthusiasts. More than 200 vehicles (cars, motorcycles, horse-drawn carriages) from the 1885s to the prototypes of the future, gathered in a 3,300^m² hall, decorated with period advertising posters, and the reconstruction of the^1st grandfather's garage. From the steam-powered De Dion Bouton of 1850 to recent racing cars, including those that took part in rallies such as the 1913 Panhard. The only downside: a rate equivalent to that of the famous Schlumpf Museum!

Opening time and information on CAR MUSEUM OF VENDÉE

Closed from October 2 to March 31. Low season: open daily from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 6:30pm. High season: daily from 10am to 7pm. Year-round (except January) for groups. Free for children under 4. Adults: €17. Children (5 to 12 years): €8.

Beaucoup de belle et vielle voiture , souvent le dimanche on en voit circuler sur les Sables en guise de publicité , c'est comme cela que j'ai su qu'il y avait ce beau musée

Beau musée sur la route des Sables d'Olonne qui renferme de beaux modèles de voitures anciennes très bien rénovées. Grand parking pour les visiteurs. C'est un vrai plaisir de découvrir tous ces véhicules faisant partie de notre patrimoine.
