The musical encounters proposed during this festival will bring together for a series of concerts young artists from the Juilliard School of New York, singers from the Jardin des Voix and instrumentalists from Les Arts Florissants in an idyllic setting conducive to creation. Harpsichordist, conductor of international renown, musicologist and teacher, William Christie, and his associate director Paul Agnew offer an original and original journey through a remarkable garden.

The Foire des Minées (^69th edition) is a commercial and industrial exhibition attracting tens of thousands of visitors each year. It has been in existence for several centuries when, originally, fairgoers settled on a vacant lot called "Fief des Minées", hence its name. The "mine" or "minée" was an agrarian measure, resulting from a tax levied on the quantity of grain sold at the market: the "minage". Each year, more than 250 exhibitors set up shop in the Palais de la Foire for five days of entertainment.

The International Triathlon of Saint-Jean-de-Monts is a very famous race which gathers 350 triathletes, on a spectacular course, (Australian style swimming course). Races for young people, women, men and relays. Distance: 1 500 m swimming in the sea, 40 km cycling, 10 km walking. Also on the same day the Discovery Triathlon. Individual event open to all. Distances: 300 m swimming, 15 km cycling, 5 km walking. This is the ^38th edition!

An important meeting of artists and companies who will make you discover every Wednesday and Friday evening, from mid-July to mid-August, about fifteen free shows of music, theater, dance, circus and street arts. This street arts festival, which is in its ^27th year, offers a variety of quality street performances, combining heritage and creation, as well as workshops for children led by professional artists. Every Wednesday and Friday for six weeks, the city opens its streets and gardens..

It is short, it is flat: It is perfect for beginners! Practicable on foot, at VTC or on mountain bike (its stony coating would not be pleasant for other practices), this Green Lane allows you to connect Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie to Givrand in only 4 kilometres. A short go back to jogging, or some shots at the end of the day, and here you will quickly take the rhythm of physical exercise on a daily basis! The route is signposted, including the dunes of the Jaunay.

The salt marshes on the island of Noirmoutier are of major interest for their flora and fauna, and this short Voie verte (Green Way) offers you the chance to explore them in complete safety. On foot or by bike, you'll make your way along the ponds on a dirt track perfectly integrated into the environment. In just 5 kilometers, you'll reach L'Herbaudière at the north-western tip of the island. Whether on your own, with friends or family, this itinerary is just as suitable for sports enthusiasts as it is for nature lovers looking for a Sunday stroll.

La Joséphine is a very beautiful initiative around a race and march 5 km, 100% women, organized for the League against Cancer. A great success for this solidarity event, which brings together more than 5 000 women with a nice pink bib, of all ages, which bear the colours of October pink to fight breast cancer. This challenge is accompanied by a weekend of animations around prevention.

Located in southern Vendée, the Arts Florissants Spring Festival is entirely dedicated to Baroque sacred music. The event, organized by Les Arts Florissants in partnership with the Département de la Vendée, is conceived as a celebration not only of music, but also of the extraordinary heritage of the Vendée churches located around the commune of Thiré and the gardens of internationally renowned harpsichordist and conductor William Christie.

This is the 6th edition of this festival organized by the city of La Roche-sur-Yon. The R.Pop Festival offers a dozen free outdoor concerts, which will take place for the first time at the Haras de Vendée. An eclectic program with the discovery of emerging talents, thus, in 2016 for its first edition, Imany opened the festival. From nightfall, every Wednesday and Thursday, everyone gathers, in a friendly atmosphere, with a little air of holiday since we come with family, with friends. An event not to be missed.
