Bird observatory offering an exceptional panorama of the Olonne marshes, with supervised nature outings and by reservation.
This observatory offers an exceptional panorama of the Olonne marshes. You will be able to discover the many varieties of birds that frequent the former salt marshes, now fish marshes, in search of food, whether they are migratory or sedentary. From May to July, it is the breeding season for avocets, spoonbills, stilts, egrets, herons and shelducks, with some great moments when the chicks emerge. Supervised nature outings on reservation.

Originality
A magnificent observatory, overlooking the marshes, telescopes available, guides explain to beginners how to use them, and indicate the species to see present on the site. You can spend time as much here than you want, guides are very listening and questions as they will prime and explanations detailed on the birds (or others will bring you) that you are observing. The place is a haven of peace. It is not to walk in the marshes but to observe a well static place.
