The brainchild of David and Florian, La Folie is a multi-faceted place, facing the sea. It's a lounge bar for cocktails on the poolside terrace, a restaurant with a menu that includes seafood, grilled whole fish, mussels in summer, and burgers. How about Côte et Plage? This friendly restaurant on the embankment of the main beach is located on the right-hand side, at the end, towards the bathing cabins. Regulars come here for their morning coffee or to share plates of homemade tapas. We took advantage of the sunshine to sit on the terrace overlooking the beach. Home-cooked with fresh produce, the main dishes include fish tartare with flavours from other parts of the world and pad thai for an exotic touch, with a local touch: grilled sardines from Saint-Gilles and mussels in season.

In front of Patricia and Éric's restaurant, located in a pedestrian area a few steps from the port, there is a terrace. Made from quality local organic flour and fresh produce, the galettes are made to order. Amongst the must-tries, the Cancalaise with scallops, the Saint-Gilles with marinated sardines. Among the favourites: the Tartiflette, the Hamburger. Good point: suggestions for vegetarian galettes! Other alternatives: bavette, fish & chips, and mussels in summer. For dessert, we succumbed to the homemade caramel beurre salé crepe.

The Old Sales Farm houses a farmhouse, a residential park of 50 sites and 2 guest rooms renovated in the old buildings of the farm, classified 3-épis at the Gîtes de France. Enter this old barn specially designed to receive groups around large dining all year round, located on the edge of Breton Marsh, in the countryside. In July-August, the individual can also enjoy authentic cuisine based on local products.

Equipped with single rooms created by a blacksmith, this restaurant is specialized in grilled meats so that it preserved the soul of the ancient forge who was used to dwell here.
