If you are looking for a little corner of paradise on the banks of the Loire, please don't hesitate, it's at Jean-Loup's Bistrot des Quais! We find local wines which are of course the honor: from the Savennières of Joseph Renoux (Clos de la Marche in Saint-Aubin-de-Luigné), Sauvignon castle sauvignon in white and other AOC of Saint-Lambert, Denée… Jean-Loup has decided to serve local producers and he has achieved it with great success. The decoration is carefully decorated. Cherry on the cake, do not hesitate to go to the large terrace when the sun is from the party, to enjoy a breathtaking view of the Loire. The environment of the expo park is not really the kind of place to eat. However, this restaurant is worth a little bit out of the city center. Big, clean and tables sufficiently isolated from each other so we don't feel like eating on the neighbor's knees. Many friendly and efficient servers although you can still wait a bit because the room is often full, whatever the day. The décor is elegant and contemporary, all dark wood. As for plates, meat, pizzas or salads, they are well stocked. To get into the appetite, try the sliced, mushy egg with its mushroom pan and foie gras. On the shouting side, in addition to the fish of the day, you will be tempted by the pasta to the gambas and nuts of Saint-Jacques. And while we prefer to see Porcinet with his friend Winnie the bear, know that we can find him in the plate of the Angevine Villa, accompanied by his small garlic cream. You prefer to taste cousin Giovanni? Poet, or just with Parmesan and Pesto? No problem, it's a tartare! You can also enjoy the terrace which, curiously, has a direct view of the swimming pool of the hotel. Weakness: Pizzas have a very fine dough that can displeasing some. Talent: the atmosphere and fresh food for a diversified map.

Zinc is a typical decor of a modern, bright, large brewery (including a beautiful terrace). It is also a varied menu for successful dishes: burgers, salads, seafood, traditional tartars and tasty meats. The lunch formula adds a few more alternatives to the already Cornelian choice awaiting you: for example, pork ribs in barbecue sauce (homemade and not too sweet!) and roasted potatoes with thyme. For dessert, beautiful ice creams await the gourmands, a crémet d'Anjou will delight the chauvinists. To stay in the room, the Cointreau, which has its "Carré" less than a kilometre away, also has the honours of the map.

Simple and welcoming, this is a truck stop with healthy cuisine "just like home". A wide range of classic starters (plenty of raw vegetables, salads, melon, cold cuts, etc.) is available at the buffet. The main course is meat or fish, but you will appreciate the variety and quality of the cheeses presented on the platter. Traditional desserts are available on a self-service basis: fruit salad, floating island, cream, pastries... And as we are in the Saumurois, a pleasant fruity local wine is waiting on the table to complete this meal.

A breathtaking view of the magnificent castle, quality cuisine and a warm welcome, what more could you ask for? Depending on the season and the chef's inspiration, after amuse-bouches with foie gras crème brûlée, you can enjoy a pike-perch and smoked salmon terrine, veal kidneys with mustard flambéed with Armagnac, or Italian-style pasta. For dessert, delicious chocolate profiteroles will do the trick, unless you are tempted by a sabayon with seasonal fruits made with the Crémant of the Château de Montreuil-Bellay.
