Highly bistronomic cuisine by Chef Anthony Vaillant with impeccable and meticulous service, and well thought-out presentations.

After having worked in prestigious palaces in Geneva and Monaco, and for a few years in Fontevraud, Chef Anthony Vaillant took over this establishment and transformed it in his own image. In a refined and warm setting, you will be surprised by a highly bistronomic cuisine, simple and refined, such as this perfect egg and crushed tomatoes or this filet of wild lean meat and seasonal vegetables. The service is impeccable and meticulous; the presentations are well done, the cooking mastered and the desserts are as many promises of good food.

Collège Culinaire de France. Closed one week at Christmas and one week in February. Open from Tuesday to Saturday from 12.15 to 1.30 pm (last service at 1.30 pm) and from 7.15 to 9.30 pm (last service at 9 pm). Menus from 28 € to 52 €. A la carte: about 35 €. Children's menu: 17 €. Lunch formula: 17 € (Tuesday to Friday). Wine by the glass. Holiday vouchers, Restaurant vouchers. Groups welcome. Baby chairs. Terrace. Take away sale.

Moment suspendu au pied du château
De passage pour qqs jours à Saumur, nous nous sommes laissés tenter par cette belle adresse qui propose, à midi en semaine, un menu du marché des plus goûteux et raffiné. Ajoutez à cela, une présentation soignée et des flacons de la région choisis par le maître des lieux et vous obtiendrez la formule gagnante d’un repas réussi ! Qu’on se le dise…
