Restaurant with terrace and tasty cuisine in the castle of King René in Angers.

What could be better than having lunch in a castle? It's possible at the superb castle of Angers and at an attractive price! In a beautiful room between beams and old stones, you will enjoy fresh and seasonal products. Each day, a choice of three hot dishes is proposed, served in a pot. For the starter and the dessert, a choice of verrines awaits you. On sunny days, you can eat outside to admire the castle and its various dwellings. Note that the place is also a tea room and, on Sundays, a brunch.

Closed from January 6th to 31st. Low season: open every day and holidays from 10am to 5:15pm. High season: every day and holidays from 10am to 6:15pm. Free access to the restaurant from 12pm to 2pm every day. Reservation recommended. Menus from 17 € to 28 € (express or buffet formulas). Children's menu : 11,50 €. Dish of the day : 11 € (hot dish of the day from 11 €). Wine by the glass. Brunch on Sundays and holidays at 28 €. Restaurant voucher. Accessible to PRM including toilets. Groups welcome. Baby chairs. Garden. Terrace.

Menu fantastique où, si vous choisissez le menu du jour, vous avez un plat principal plus 4 verres qui peuvent être 4 entrées, 4 desserts ou 2 de chaque mais très savoureux.
Le seul inconvénient était que la serveuse a oublié nos boissons et a disparu dehors.

Nous sommes allés y manger ce midi et nous nous sommes régalés ainsi que nos enfants. Les 3 plats du jor étaient délicieux ainsi que toutes les verrines et les gâteaux. Merci et bravo!
