Improvisation for all is the aim of this league, which offers amateur workshops and courses for all levels. In addition, the league puts on shows in a number of venues in and around Nantes - as well as in companies - in three forms: Script'acte (as the words are spoken, the text is written and projected onto a screen), Blablabar (spectators propose words or situations to the actors on the fly), and the Match d'improvisation in which two teams face each other (at the Maison de quartier de Doulon and the Coup du Lapin in particular). This year, you'll be able to see his new show Cabaret.

The TNT is a performance hall opened in 1998. The place was created and thought by actors as a space of creations and meetings. It offers shows for all audiences, including a program for the youngest which has been a great success. To come here is to discover the regional cultural melting pot with theater, circus, as well as music, dance, humor, poetry, tales and readings... without forgetting the exhibitions! With its 12 rooms, the UGC Cité Atlantis offers a wide selection of films for all the public, children and amateurs of V.O. understood. To discover also: Viva the opera to see and listen to the most famous operas (rebroadcast suites to the recordings of the arena of Verona or La Scala de Milan), UGC Worship, two thursdays a month to see or review the films that marked the 7 ^th Art, but also many pre-first, sometimes in the presence of the director. Most of the films on the poster are available in audiodescription and some sessions are in VFSTF for hard-hearing people. Here you can choose its place in the room, when you pass into crates or at the purchase terminals, or book via the Internet (automatic placement from the top of the room depending on the number of places available) with withdrawal of tickets at the terminals - or even send the reservation on your smartphone, which will be scanned directly at the entrance. The Théâtre du Sphinx in Nantes, founded 33 years ago by Patrice Fourreau, has just been rejuvenated under the management of Christèle Guéry and Julie Toublanc. The new managers have undertaken modernization work while preserving the unique soul of this charming private theater, dear to the heart of its founder, who passed away in 2020. The eclectic and varied program, ranging from contemporary theater to stand-up comedy, one-man-shows, music and dance, remains faithful to the spirit of proximity intended by Patrice.

The Cinématographe is Nantes' oldest cinema, showing films since 1908. Housed in the former chapel of the Carmelites, it's pure charm: a single room with exposed stone walls, old-fashioned armchairs and big red curtains. Its aficionados are loyal! In terms of programming, it specializes in art house films. The cinema also offers special slots for young audiences. We'll be taking advantage of this place steeped in history before its planned move to the Cours des 50-Otages in early 2026.

This community cinema in the Saint-Jacques district was created in 1928 and still operates largely thanks to its volunteers. Classified as an Art et d'Essai cinema since 1983, it has a capacity of about 350 seats (accessible to people with reduced mobility). The program mixes new and older films. Sessions are available for the deaf and hard of hearing. The Bonne-Garde has been awarded the "Young Audience" label, and children are given a special place! Times are also organised for seniors. A big, black, mysterious cube in the heart of the Atlantis pole, with the bulging eyes of a giant robot watching you. It's impossible to walk past Onyx-La Carrière without spotting this public cultural venue in the Herblin conurbation. Since its creation in 1994, the Pannonica has earned a good reputation among jazz and improvised music lovers. Located under the Paul Fort hall in Talensac, it welcomes every season various artists from the region and elsewhere. One feels good in this convivial and intimate space (the capacity is 140 places), thanks to this spirit of opening proper to the adventurers of jazz. Be careful, here, no jazz called "of repertory". But since jazz feeds freely on other musical styles, one will be able to appreciate nice artistic crossings with hip-hop, rock or songs... On the program in 2022/2023 : The Big-Band of the Conservatory of Nantes, Armel Dupas, Designers, Lukas Traxel Trio... Go there and soak up these rich inspirations. The place also organizes shows for young audiences, exhibition openings, concerts in the homes of residents and regularly opens its stage, the opportunity to jam.

Near the Talensac Market, La Bouche d'air is a human-sized venue with a rich and varied program. The 2022-2023 season was worthy of its anniversary (40 years in June 2023!) and of its desire to honor current music with concerts by Cali, La Grande Sophie, les Fouteurs de joie, Fred Pellerin, Marcia Hugelin, Yves Jamais... We don't forget the aperitif-concerts organized by the hall! Regularly, cultural actions are proposed to sensitize new audiences. La Fleuriaye offers an eclectic program: theater, comedy, dance, circus arts, song, music, ballet, shows for young audiences... The 2023-2024 season promises to be a nomadic one, as the theater is currently undergoing renovations. It will therefore host artists from all horizons in various Carquefolian venues (music school, high school, media library, school, church) as well as at the Cité des Congrès in Nantes. Among them, Donne-moi la main (Happy manif-chorégraphies), Au non du père, by Ahmed Madani, Jeu by Anthony Diaz, la Délicatesse by Thierry Surace, Les Dodos by compagnie le P'tit Cirk, Gravité by Preljocaj! For more than 30 years of existence, the Capellia cultural space welcomes, depending on its configuration, from 500 to 1,000 people per performance, that is to say more than 9,000 people per year. Concert, theater, dance... there is something for all ages and all tastes. This performance hall also takes part in major festivals: Les rendez-vous de l'Erdre, Celtomania, Jazz en phase le parcours, Hip Opsession and hosts every two years Saperlipuppet (with a next edition in April 2024), the most important festival of puppets and manipulated objects in Loire-Atlantique. For many years, the theatre of the 7 leagues (T 7 L for the intimate) presents its suitcases here and there. The travelling structure moves and offers theatre at home. Not a hard structure but two yurts that can contain between 10 and 70 people. The Life (International scene of Emerging Forms) is a space dedicated to the production and dissemination of artistic creation in its various aspects, such as the plastic arts, music, architecture, performing arts, literature, cinema, or video and new media. It was imagined by the architect Berlin Finn Geipel. Inaugurated in April 2007, it became a major element in the recovery of the old submarine base. Life is close to 2000 m 2 on the ground, a reception capacity of 150 to 2500 people. In the programme: shows, exhibitions, concerts, projections, meetings; a regular bar and dance; day or night, a place of experience, meetings, discoveries and exchanges.

Under the name Les Laboratoires Vivants, this is a new project, a new era for this 348-seat municipal facility located in the heart of the city. New in Nantes for the pleasure of our zygomatic! The Smile Comedy Club puts a smile on our faces! This new venue, where humor is king, is located on rue Jean-Jaurès in Nantes. Once past the downstairs bar, we head for the mezzanine, which hosts the very best in stand-up comedy, with up-and-coming French and European performers to our delight. All with one aim in mind: to make us laugh with their offbeat humor and make for a superb evening! Two sessions are offered at 7 or 7.30pm and 9 or 9.30pm depending on the day. One of the venue's special features is the package with show admission and optional dinner-show! In addition to the friendly bar, the establishment has kept the chef (it used to be the restaurant Le Dilemme), so you can enjoy the talent of his cuisine as well as that of the artists! Located in the heart of Nantes, between Place Royale and Place du Cirque, the Fabrique à Impros is, as its name suggests, a cultural and artistic venue dedicated to the practice of improvisation. The small theater opened its doors in September 2019 with the aim of bringing together the many improvisation companies, facilitating public access to this discipline and legitimizing it. Since its creation, it has served as a federating distribution space and a resource center for improvisation in the Nantes region. The theater is a convivial space organized around three areas: a bar, designed as a meeting point for Nantes residents, to share good times before shows and do improv again afterwards; a 90 m² auditorium, equipped with sound and light (and a 15 m² stage), seen as a space for discovery and pleasure, where innovative creations are proposed, mainly performed by Nantes-based troupes; and upstairs, the actors' offices and dressing rooms (in other words, the theater's backstage area). Companies wishing to use the Fabrique à Impros for rehearsals or artist residencies are welcome to do so.
