The 2022/2023 season brought change to the ONPL, as it welcomed Sascha Goetzel as Music Director for the next 4 seasons. In 2023, he embarks on his second year with an attractive program and a new Europe Music Edition. A season of 32 programs. The ONPL choir will be in the spotlight, performing requiems by Mozart and Verdi. The choir will also be on hand for Heritage Days. There's also the opening concert with Franco-Serbian violinist Nemanja Radulovic, the Romantics with pianist Marie-Ange Nguci, Mozart's Requiem revisited by Pierre-Henri Dutron... and so much more to discover! Not forgetting film-concerts and family concerts(La cuisine de la cheffe, Le Tour du Monde en 80 jours, etc.). During the lunch break, you can also take advantage of our fantastic Pauses-concert series, featuring 45 minutes of music performed by a small group of musicians. Everyone will be able to vibrate to the sound of the music told by this talented orchestra, whose main mission is to create emotions. The promise of great moments in the company of the ONPL!

If it was at the beginning in 1916 a neighborhood dance hall, the Concorde is today an institution of the Zola and Chantenay neighborhoods, that Fanny and Sylvain Clochard keep alive 365 days a year. With its 4 screens, this superb neighborhood cinema, classified as "art et essai", is run by enthusiasts who offer us the chance to (re)watch recently released or older, cult films. Young audience screenings are regularly offered. A single common point: quality! For more than 100 years, the Concorde has been telling us stories, for our greatest pleasure! The cinema will even expand in 2027!

Built in the ^18th century by architect Mathurin de Crucy, it is a landmark in the city's landscape. The sumptuous Théâtre Graslin is home to the Angers Nantes Opéra, a program of opera, dance and concerts. The 2023-2024 season will feature the opera Béatrice et Bénédict (Hector Berlioz), Le Retour d'Ulysse dans sa patrie (Claudio Monteverdi), concerts by the Conservatoire "Romantisme... à la française", Cosa Rara and the family show Si tous les gars du monde. At Christmas, we'll be enchanted by the choiroratorio concert. Located in the Saint-Paul district (Pont-Rousseau), this cinema is the only cinema in Rezé and it is associative. Dating back to 1936, it has the old-fashioned charm of yesteryear and has a unique but vast hall with more than 400 seats with wide, soft red armchairs and large red curtains on either side of the screen. Each session begins with a short film followed by an intermission during which an usher comes by to sell sweets. A relaxed family atmosphere is guaranteed! Programming: new releases, Ciné Minos screenings for children (the first Sunday of the month), Ciné Thèmes evenings for grown-ups and a cycle of Les Grands Classiques (once a month). Every first Sunday of the month, a cinema poster sale is organised. Also noteworthy, in May, the short film festival: Montre-moi ton court! which presents short films made by all audiences.

Five rooms, a bar, a pop-bar machine and comfortable chairs between which the large legs have the place to stretch. New features are available.

Excellent news: the Cité du Music-Hall has landed in Nantes and taken off in the Sémaphore hall on the Ile de Nantes. This 282-seat venue has been completely renovated, with comfortable blue seats and beautiful effects to enhance the shows. Rare in France, this human-scale venue is entirely devoted to music hall. We love the closeness between the audience and the performers, and have a really good time. Actors, dancers, singers and sometimes acrobats, we're delighted to discover the Revue de la Cloche and the diverse programming of the Cité du Music-Hall. Excellent news for promoting, preserving and supporting talented artists, and it's in Nantes!

The National Scene The Theatre took place in 2012 in the old station of Saint-Nazaire, located in the City-Port district. In the Haussmann style, it was built here in 1857 because passengers from Paris could win the maritime station at 100 metres on foot, to sail on the ships and earn South America. Damaged but not destroyed during the war, it remains in service until 1955, the year of inauguration of the new SNCF station. In 1978, the city acquired the remaining buildings. After many years of abandonment and several years of successive work, she is fully rehabilitated and becomes the starting point for attending beautiful shows: theatre, dance, music, song, circus, performance… The entrance takes place by the arcades. The requalifiée nave is accessible from the arcades and from the northern parking lot.

Since 2006, it is the big hall of Nantes Métropole. The Zenith is located at the crossroads of the Nantes-Saint-Nazaire expressway and the ring road, on the Ar Mor site, near public transport. Sound quality, modular public and stage spaces, outdoor scenography on show nights thanks to its highest façade functioning as a giant screen: so many undeniable assets. The Zenith can accommodate from 2,200 to 9,000 people (and 4,900 in seated configuration), making it one of the largest Zeniths in France in terms of capacity. The Pathé Atlantis in Saint-Herblain is the largest cinema in the Nantes area with its 14 screens and 2916 seats. Located near the ring road (Porte d'Ar Mor) and the tramway line 1 (Victor Schoelcher stop), it is in the heart of the Atlantis area. Installed under the naves, Steréolux is a high place of the cultural life of Nantes. Pass the porch of the Compagnie du Café-Théâtre, sit back and enjoy the show! You'll understand why for more than 20 years it has been an essential part of the Nantes humor scene. In this atypical and warm place, you can laugh, have a drink and play. The rooms offer intimate and friendly shows. The rich programming of the Piano'cktail in Bouguenais explores the performing arts in all its forms: theater, music, dance, circus arts, puppets, conferences-debates ... like the 2022/2023 season which sees Stefano di Battista (saxophonist), Madeleine Peyroux (jazz), Les Fauves (juggling), Tanguy Pastureau (humor), Queen Blood (dance)... The venue also honors youth and family shows, since a good part of its programming is accessible to the youngest, with Wednesdays reserved for the youngest. As a presenter and co-producer, the Piano'cktail supports the creation and emergence of young companies and regional companies. Since 2013, Agnès and Philippe Birsel have been at the helm of this small 100-seat theater. They offer a beautiful program in a small room with comfortable red seats that offers a real proximity with the actors. From Thursday to Sunday, there is theater in all its forms: classical, modern, comedy, humor and also music around jazz, gospel... If you want to try your hand at acting, theater courses are available for adults and young people. Courses for children are also offered during the school vacations. Just a step away from the Graslin theater, here is a small pocket theater with an intimate and warm atmosphere!

Improvisation for all is the aim of this league, which offers amateur workshops and courses for all levels. In addition, the league puts on shows in a number of venues in and around Nantes - as well as in companies - in three forms: Script'acte (as the words are spoken, the text is written and projected onto a screen), Blablabar (spectators propose words or situations to the actors on the fly), and the Match d'improvisation in which two teams face each other (at the Maison de quartier de Doulon and the Coup du Lapin in particular). This year, you'll be able to see his new show Cabaret.

The TNT is a performance hall opened in 1998. The place was created and thought by actors as a space of creations and meetings. It offers shows for all audiences, including a program for the youngest which has been a great success. To come here is to discover the regional cultural melting pot with theater, circus, as well as music, dance, humor, poetry, tales and readings... without forgetting the exhibitions! A multidisciplinary stage, dedicated to emerging artists, which hosts more than 500 performances per year and more than 20,000 spectators. It is worth noting that you can learn acting here thanks to numerous theater workshops open to adults, with themes based on musicals, contemporary theater, theater in Spanish... At the end of the year, a real performance will punctuate this learning process. Teenagers will be able to take advantage of improvisation theater classes.
