This gigantic bunker, 295 metres long, 130 metres wide and 15 to 19 metres high, is home to Le Life (Lieu International des Formes Émergentes), a space dedicated to artistic creation: visual arts, music, architecture, performing arts, literature and cinema. Designed by Berlin architect Finn Geipel and inaugurated in 2007, it is a major element in the reclamation of the former submarine base. On the program: shows, exhibitions, concerts, screenings, meetings... on almost 2000 m2 of floor space, with a capacity of 150 to 2500 people.
