Both laboratory and nursery, the Factory is a project carried out by the city of Nantes, which brings together different spaces and associations dedicated to emerging artistic practices. Located in the creation district, there is also a structure in the Dervallières district (La Fabrique Dervallières) and in the Chantenay-Bellevue district (the Factory Bellevue-Chantenay). Different associations are in residence. On Nantes Island you can find Trempolino, which accompanies artists, musicians, concert organizers and others in the implementation of their projects through repetition and recording studios, an information center, small and large workshops and a specially dedicated training offer for professionals. Sterolux (ex-Olympic) that continues its work of sniper, co-producing local, national and international artists. Apo 33, which promotes collective and collaborative projects involving research and experimentation, and organizes every year the free electronic art festival, Electro Pixel. Mire is an association dedicated to experimental cinema and moving image. At Dervallières-Zola, a dozen associations among which, Fragil publishing a culture magazine and society, Free Fall a dance company that promotes hip hop culture or Yolk, a musical label. La Fabrique is therefore a place to discover current and future artistic currents or to find help if you are a beginner or professional artist.
