The food is delicious and fine, and the prices are very reasonable for the location. The pizzas are also an excellent choice, as are the local wines. We love to sit under the straw hut, facing the Grande Bleue... Contemplative!

The service is attentive and the owners are very friendly. We like the atmosphere of the sea front of Sant'Antioco, like a little air of Ile de Ré...

Chef Andrea Rosso knows all the secrets of tuna, but respecting the work of men and the rhythms of nature, he avoids offering this fish in periods when the raw material is not available. In season, we find the tuna fillet in salt served on a bed of juicy tomatoes and seasoned with a dash of olive oil, the homemade tuna lasagne covered with drops of pesto or the roasted tuna with tomato juice and bay leaf.

If we had to choose only one on the long stretch of sand of Torre Grande, it would be Riva Nord. We were simply charmed by the place: the restaurant is located on the beach, just a few steps from the water. The service is impeccable, the staff very smiling and attentive. The tables are quite far from each other, creating a little intimacy under the large veranda. A local cuisine but revisited, and of course one comes to Riva Nord to taste sea products: the octopus is delicious and the pasta recipes are surprising.

Its Musciara is the best table in the region. It pays tribute to the town's past as a tuna port with a menu dedicated to bluefin tuna in season. The Musciara was the name of the boat of Portoscuso's chief fisherman, who had a window under the keel that allowed him to see the catch live. Fresh products and simplicity form the winning duo of this elegant table that opens onto the sea. The speciality of the house? The spaghetti, the recipe for which can be found on the website. Nestled on a small cape that juts out into the clear waters, S'Abba Drucche's large covered terrace enjoys a perfect location. The eyes, when not distracted by the superb culinary compositions, are turned towards the sea and its magnificent coves just a stone's throw from the restaurant - yes, just a stone's throw, that's not an image. We loved the welcome and the quality of the fresh products. Fish specialties, local or revisited dishes... Our favorite is the cuttlefish tagliatelle! A magical and romantic place!

We fell in love with this address in Santadi, where a dedicated staff welcomes you in a pleasant garden. The menu honours both the flavours of the land and the sea as well as local producers. So make your choice between cheese and sausage antipasti or fish and shellfish antipasti, a dish of fregola with mussels or grilled fish, seadas covered with honey or a hazelnut and chocolate ice-cream parfait. Pizza lovers won't be disappointed, as the chef prepares pizza only in the evening.

Opened by a former miner and his family, this beautiful restaurant overlooking the beach of San Nicolò serves traditional cuisine with a creative touch. Among the fish and meat specialities, you will find the artichoke and bottarga salad as a starter, the fish fry and the inevitable seafood fregola. The pizzas are only available in the evening, as they are cooked over a wood fire. Two beautiful verandas open straight onto the sea, so you can enjoy the beautiful summer evenings in a relaxed atmosphere.

This absolutely surreal address is well worth a stop. Along the promenade of the Nebida belvedere opens a wonderful terrace with a view of the sea and the Pan di Zucchero rock in the distance. The kitchens take place in what was the explosive depot of the old mines, while the tables are spread out on the shady promenade. Pizza is the great speciality here, but you can stop for a drink. 906 Operaio pays homage to the miners who died in the 1906 revolt protesting against inhuman working conditions.

The Mar'e Pontis cooperative restaurant is a must on the peninsula. The extensive menu is based exclusively on typical lagoon fish. The "bottarga" (mullet roe) is one of the ingredients that characterizes the house specialties, which can be eaten in pieces or slices seasoned with oil, or minced or sprinkled on a dish of spaghetti. The dishes are hearty yet delicate. The open-air terrace overlooking the lagoon offers a magnificent view. Irresistible!
