Mandigos is a concept store where you can find a thousand and one ideas to (indulge) yourself. The store is full of artisanal products: oils, wines and antipasti in jars, high quality Sardinian handicrafts (basketry and lace) and organic cosmetics. The welcome is friendly and warm. The store is not very big but very well stocked and we did our shopping there for our return to France. The owner will not hesitate to advise you on the best restaurants in town and will tell you the history of Bosa.

Between magic and beliefs, drama and comedy, Graziano Vale sees in the mask a desire of man to disguise himself and immerse himself in the imagination. He has carried out numerous researches and studies on the transformation of the mask in the Mediterranean culture in order to perpetuate this tradition. Originally from the north of Italy, he arrived in Sardinia to study Phoenician-Punic ritual masks. He chose to stay there to make typical Sardinian masks, Phoenician masks or commedia dell'arte in an artisanal way.

The Salaris brothers take their trade from previous generations who, since time immemorial, have passed on the art of forging and cutlery to each other. Respectful of tradition, they make knives in a completely traditional way, from the forging of the steel blade to the handle made of ram's horn, deer horn, heather or ebony wood. They ensure that their knives are flawless in order to satisfy a particularly demanding clientele of connoisseurs. Some pieces are true works of art.

VITTORIO MURA & FIGLI

Vittorio Mura, now deceased, was a real institution in Santu Lussurgiu. He was one of those blacksmiths who raised cutlery to the rank of art. His "resolzas", knives with folding blades, are highly sought-after and are the subject of a market. Collectors and tourists continue to visit his workshop, taken over by his three sons. He has passed on to them his passion and talent for highly crafted knives. The most elaborate pieces require hours of work, such as those with damascened blades. The prices can then soar.
