This beautiful park covers 297,211 ha and includes the Barren Mountains, the Eyre Range and the Fitzgerald River. It is accessed by the South Coast Highway, after Jerramungup, or by Bremer Bay, a peaceful fishing village at the extreme south of the park. Note that part of the Rabbit Proof Fence No. 2 (1 1,64 km long) crosses the park. At the end of this barrier put in place to prevent rabbits infiltration, Point Ann is one of the best whale watching sites on the coast. Only two out of four campgrounds are accessible to non-4 X 4 vehicles.
