Read moreSkydiving is the main attraction in Jurien Bay, a small coastal town north of Cervantes with a very modern Visitor Center. Tandem jumps at 8,000, 10,000 or 14,000 feet! Between 20 seconds and more than 1 minute of freefall depending on the jump chosen. If you don't want to jump, you can always watch the parachutes open from the ground! Beautiful beaches around Jurien Bay and many fish in the water to catch for the amateurs. Nice cafe, perfect for a little break during your road trip.

CAPE TO CAPE TRACK
Read more123 km walk between the two lighthouses Cape Naturaliste and Cape Leeuwin. Sumptuous landscapes along the coast. The total route takes 5-8 days, but it can be broken down into a multitude of walks. The southern half tends to be a bit wilder than the northern half. The hike can be done all year round, but is not recommended during the heat of December/January. September/October, with the wild flowers, is ideal. March/April is also very pleasant. Operators, such as Cape to Cape Explorer Tour, can organize your hike.

L'EPAVE DU SANKO HARVEST
Read moreFor experienced divers, the wreck of the Sanko Harvest is located in the Recherche Archipelago. Coming from Florida, this cargo ship carrying phosphate and oil bound for Esperance sank in 1991 while trying to take a shortcut. An oil spill ensued, much of which was cleaned up by volunteers shoveling oil from the white sands of the area's beaches. The wreck is now home to many aquatic species and is the second largest in the world! Dolphin Scuba or Woody Island Eco Tours can take you there.
OPTUS STADIUM
Read moreOpened in 2018, Optus stadium is primarily dedicated to the Australian Football League, the national sport that is a cousin of Gaelic soccer. The stadium made a splash in 2021 by hosting the AFL final, traditionally played in then-confined Melbourne. There is almost no parking at the stadium, on match days everything is done to encourage public transport, as well as the use of the new Matagarup Bridge in the shape of pairs of swans embracing. The stadium can be visited and also offers the Vertigo experience, where you can suspend yourself above the void!
