Come and discover the dolphin environment at this center dedicated to their preservation. The center has a very good reputation and is recognized nationwide for its research work, in partnership with universities and the government.
A visit to theInterpretive Centre allows you to immerse yourself in the life of the dolphins. Highly interactive, you'll discover their different habitats and habits. Aquariums, films explaining the center's missions, all supervised by a team of enthusiasts. They also organize 1h30 eco-cruises during which curious dolphins observe and come towards visitors. You'll see birds, dolphins and, above all, an extraordinary panorama. From November to April, you can also swim with them in Koombana Bay. The tour lasts 3 to 4 hours, and everything you need is provided. An unforgettable adventure. To see the dolphins up close (and for free), there's the "Interaction Zone" on the edge of the beach, where a dozen dolphins regularly visit the shore. They each have a name, and the center's volunteers can recognize them by their dorsal fin. Listen carefully to the volunteers' instructions on how to interact with and feed the dolphins. They are most frequently seen between October and April, in the mornings. You can even adopt a dolphin!
Tours and cruises must be booked in advance on the site. Weekends are busy and places are limited.
