And then there are those who are looking to expand, those who find a location commensurate with their success. This is the case with Basilik, whose balanced lunch formulas have hit the mark! So we needed another bigger room and a real terrace for this alterno snack bar. At Basilik 2, the great novelty is also steam cooking and the Thai-inspired quick-cooking basket (chicken, Chinese cabbage, carrot, ginger, soya). The first small salad bowl remains open. You can have lunch with soup, Asian salad, Nordic sandwich (wrasp). The concern for dietetics, freshness and taste is constant. Everything is homemade with market products, often organic. Exotic ingredients (Chinese cabbage, quinoa, pink lentils, crushed peanuts, soy sauce, sesame seeds, etc.) give the usual salads a change. Always accompanied by a slice of wholemeal bread, the preparations are served in biodegradable packaging.

At lunchtime or in the evening, you choose your formula, then you are placed by one of the servers of the friendly team headed by Thuthuy Dag. Then, free to discover the cooked dishes, presented in an attractive way in stainless steel tanks. You are allowed to serve several times. Success requires, it is often full, but the room is great. Just like in a chic, exotic business canteen, you'll find yourself in the buffet and you'll find indications on the dishes. Entries (green papaya salad, nems, spring rolls, ravioli), dishes (tonkinoise, painted duck, almond chicken, bo beef bun), rice, noodles, fried vegetables and desserts… everything is good! With an air to come back!

In any case, for Olivier Gerber, the likeable boss of Délicafé, it is obvious: all basic ingredients come from the covered market: meat from Lozere, seasonal vegetables, cheeses. Different formulas: unique dishes (veal or turkey steak, chopped steak, beef tartar, often accompanied by skipped potatoes - not frozen!) but also original salted pies and large gourmet salads (homemade specialty), recipes of vegetables, haddock with Parmesan, haddock of a green salad, all for a simple meal that keeps the body. A small neighbourhood bistro, where it is very pleasant as soon as it is nice breakfast on the terrace. In the summer, the place is especially animated for Thursdays of Nîmes. The délicafé is then open in the evening.

Like these pot ice cream that seems straight away from school meals. But as you say, we don't ask a Renault 4 L to ride like a Jaguar. At this ridiculous price, we also have a right to the terrace! But hang up because the victim of his success never always!
