Read moreThis brewery has replaced the former bar-restaurant of the village. It is the work of Anaïs who has given back to this place its role of economic and social lung. She has started to produce top-fermented, unfiltered, unpasteurized beers that are refermented in the bottle. It works a bit like the Anglo-Saxon way to obtain light foams, but with character. The spring water is local, the cereals largely comtoises, the hops Alsatian and English. 5 permanent beverages come out of the brewery, including of course "La Dam'Naïs"!

It must be admitted that the young brewer has a "good face" which is rather cheerful. The Haut-Doubiste from Pontarlier claims to brew beers that are sparkling with joy and that appeal to the eye as well as the palate. He prepares them with 100% organic barley. 5 regular references are available for sale, in 33 cl or even in casks. He will even convince you to try a new dessert called "Bièramistu"!

He strives for balanced flavors and avoids bitterness: his range comprises a dozen references, including 5 main ones named after their characteristics. These include Doubseur (white beer), Doubsdoune (blond beer with spices) and Doubsloureuse (intense brown beer). There's also Doubszen, the Doubsdoune at Christmas. 60% of production is destined for the regional market, either in the cellar or on the terrace during lively, musical evenings!
