TOUROUVRE MUSEUMS
Read moreThe Tourouvre Museums are several museums: that of the French Emigration to Canada and that of Trades and Brands. The first one perpetuates the memory of this founding epic that 325 Percherons lived through. As pioneers, they faced the ocean and a difficult winter before building the first houses on the shores of the St. Lawrence in New France. The second museum is devoted to the small shops, stalls and advertisements of yesteryear that are still remembered. The Cano House, finally, deals with the issues of contemporary emigration to Canada.
