Roc au Chien, an Armorican sandstone site in Bagnoles de l’Orne.
Classified as a geopark by the Normandie-Maine Nature Park, the Roc au Chien is the first classified scree site in Normandy. Formed during the Ice Ages, this Armorican sandstone rock is distinguished by the geomorphology of its steep slopes and ridgelines. A safe, natural site, it offers pleasant family walks and a unique panorama of the spa town. Legends also abound. Among them, the site owes its name to a brutal lord transformed into a dog-headed stone monster.

Magnifique vue sur la ville et les rochers
Le Roc au chien est un endroit atypique fort bien aménagé et sécurisé, idéal pour y découvrir la ville d'en haut. On y accède par une agréable promenade à pied à travers un parc (parcours goudronné). La vue est sans pareille et vaut vraiment le détour mais ne cherchez pas les têtes de chiens, elles sont sans doute depuis recouvertes par la végétation florissante !

Magnifique endroit dans la ville de Bagnoles de l’Orne. Nous avons adoré, impossible de le louper quand on se balade.
