At the heart of the Normandie-Maine Regional Nature Park, the Écouves state forest extends its oak and beech trees as far north as Alençon. A paradise for cyclists and runners, the massif is also quite steep: its summit is the highest point in Normandy. The climate here differs from the rest of Normandy, with fairly cold winters.

Magnifique
Je vous conseille vraiment la Normandie du côté d'Alençon car c'est vallonné. Hyper beau, pour de belles balades en forêt sportives également de très beaux couchers et lever de soleil comme on en trouve en Bretagne. En plus peu de monde on y sent vraiment bien les Normands sont accueillants
