The oldest domain of Chavanay finds its origins in 1797. On 17 hectares where generations succeed one another in the vineyards and in the stone cellars, Lionel Faury raises the jewels of the northern Côtes-du-Rhône: Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu and Saint Joseph. André Perret has been running the family business for 41 years. Today, he manages an 11-hectare estate of viognier, syrah, marsanne and merlot-syrah vines, producing wines in the saint-joseph, condrieu and vins de pays appellations (viognier, syrah, marsanne and merlot). Among the Condrieu wines are Coteau de Chéry, the house's flagship, Clos Chanson and Saint Joseph Les Grisières. Planted on hillsides and terraced, the vines are entirely hand-grown. Many fruit juices are also present in this boutique as well as a range of AOC wines from the Northern Rhône and country coasts. Other "delights" of choice, cold and fresh charcuterie, cheeses with cow's milk or goat's milk but also sheep. There are also a lot of vegetables, tendres, traditional beef meat. The Malleval distillery was created in 1960 by Marius Paret. It still exists over 50 years later! Today, Mrs Morfin and Mr Columbus bought the distillery (now known as Distillerie distillery) but the method of operation is the same. According to the artisanal tradition, the spirits and spirits of the Pilat and the Rhone Valley are still decorated in the same way: apricot, apple, Williams pear (of course), raspberry, mirabelle, kirsch, mirabell, country or chestnut (under the name "La Châtaignette"). After working in Saint-Romain-en-Jarez, Rive-de-Gier and Saint-Etienne, he decided to move back to Saint-Chamond. Domaine de l'Herboriste is an artisan distillery located in the heart of the Pilat Natural Park. Thomas Pachalgikian wanted to create a range of exceptional liqueurs and spirits. The estate will open its doors to visitors in spring 2024, with organized workshops.

Ferme Margot is a farmers' market located in Saint-Genest-Malifaux. The store offers a wide range of products, all made in the traditional way, without colorants or preservatives. The farm's flagship products include pork, with sausages, grillades, filet mignons and charcuterie, such as pâté de campagne, pâté de tête, pâté de couenne and dry sausages. The products are naturally air-dried at an altitude of 900 meters. Ferme Margot also offers piglets cut up and cooked in white wine for special events, and charcuterie platters for evenings out with friends.

The merits of Bissardon are constantly being praised. In addition to its craftsmanship, Bissardon has distinguished itself for more than ten years in major agricultural competitions. Bissardon works with local fruit: 95% of the fruit processed comes from local orchards. Apple-raspberry, reinette apple or cherry pure juice, these fruit juices breathe the Cellieu sunshine! Château Grillet, a mythical terroir for all wine lovers. An appellation in itself for this 3.5 hectare estate in the communes of Vérin and Saint-Michel-sur-Rhône. Located on a steep terrace, this south-facing vineyard has existed since Roman times. The wine is made exclusively from Viognier. This rich, peachy, apricot-scented wine can be aged for several years. Blaise Pascal and Thomas Jefferson already consumed this nectar which is worth, depending on the year, between 180 and 300 € a bottle, provided you can find some!

Le Caveau du Château is a unique wine tourism experience in the Rhône Valley. In a grandiose setting - the Clos Joly, a ^19th-century building - a magnificent cellar to discover 4 great houses: Maison Guigal, Château de Nalys, Maison Vidal-Fleury and Domaine de Bonserine. Bernard Levet, following four generations of winegrowers, has devoted himself since 1983 to the unique but renowned Côte-Rôtie. His 4.5 ha of vines - under integrated viticulture - are divided into 11 plots, the majority of which have been planted for more than 35 years, on the sites of "Landonne" - cuvée Maestria -, "Chavaroche" - cuvée La Péroline. Cuvée Améthyste of a beautiful intensity. Tannins well present. Aromas of red fruits (blackcurrant, raspberry, blackberry) and animal spices (musk, leather) characterize this côte-rôtie which only needs to age.

At the head of this family estate we find Carmen and Jean-François well supported by their sons Liz and Fabien. The vineyard is divided into two parts: in the blonde producing a soft, high wine from 18 to 24 months. The other side is in-brune and produces a stronger wine.

A 10-hectare family estate run by brothers Patrick and Christophe that produces Côte-Rôtie and Condrieu. The Condrieu Côte Châtillon is partly barrel-aged. It's a wine with golden highlights, smooth and candied. Parcels on the Rozier and Rochins hillsides produce the bulk of the Côte-Rôtie. The former is a fine wine with aromas of red fruits and spices, while the cuvée Les Rochins is well-balanced, with vanilla and red fruit flavors and a long finish. And let's not forget Sensation du Nord: a Viognier and a Syrah at the very edge of the appellation.

This small area of 2 ha offers a toast-toast 2004 "La Brocarde" coast, which is situated in the upper-brune, high 24 to 26 months in a new oak barrel. A toast 2005, assembly of different plots on the appellation, high in oak drum for 18 months.

A fine family story, since the Barge family have been winegrowers since 1860! Julien took over the family business in 2019. He cultivates 5.70 ha in the Côte-Rôtie appellation, from which the Cuvée Duplessy and Côte-Brune are made, in a thoughtful tradition of respect for nature and "partnership" with plants and animals. Also 1 ha of Condrieu and 1.50 ha of red and white Saint Joseph. Four spacious guest rooms in a beautiful village house complete the address, with swimming pool and terrace.

SCEA Domaine Pichat is a vineyard located in Ampuis, in the Rhône region. It offers a wide range of quality wines, made from local grape varieties such as Syrah and Viognier. The estate is open to the public and offers guided tours and tastings. Visitors can discover the different stages of wine production, from vine to cellar, and learn more about the winemaking techniques used. The estate also has a boutique where visitors can purchase wines produced on site. Being a winegrower in the Condrieu and Côte-Rôtie A.O.P. is a passion that has driven the Niero family for 4 generations. Rémi Niero takes care of the estate with passion. The vineyard is entirely hand-worked and certified High Environmental Value. Result: two of the best grands crus. Wonderful Condrieu wines: Chéry and Ravines. Special Cuvée Héritage, the quintessence of the Domaine's know-how. In Côte-Rôtie, Domaine Niero owns 2 hectares where Syrah is produced, a unique grape variety, offering intense aromas and a rare elegance.

Georges Vernay was one of the emblematic "figures" of the vineyard. Condrieu owes its fame to him. For many years, he defended his vines planted on steep slopes so that they would be recognized for their true value. His daughter, Christine, has taken over the business, which is now fully certified as an organic vineyard. The cuvée Les Chaillées de l'Enfer is made from 2 hectares of 40 year old vines. The flagship of the reds are the superb Côte-Rôtie wines, including "Maison Rouge", a harmonious wine with a beautiful finesse in the mouth.

On the heights of Condrieu, the biquettes of the Ferme de Chasse Nuage (what a lovely name!) enjoy a magnificent view, but above all they benefit from a superb diet in the pastures, with good herbs to produce good milk transformed into excellent cheeses. The family farm, with Nathalie and Sébastien Bedel (brother and sister), has been in operation for 9 years and is certified organic. It offers the famous Rigottes de Condrieu, faisselles, fresh and mature cheeses. Delicious goat's milk cheeses to be found on the markets and in the store.

The best welcome in Côte-Rôtie comes from Corps de Loup! In a region where wine tourism is underdeveloped, Domaine Corps de Loup sets the example.
