Read moreLocated on the Saussignac hillside, the Serge Gazziola EARL vineyard is a 35-hectare winegrowing estate. Winemaker Serge Gazziola is an ardent defender of his terroir, and makes a point of improving this heritage. The vineyard is certified Agriculture respectueuse de l'environnement (AREA) level 2 and Haute Valeur environnementale (HVE) since 2019. A wide range of grape varieties are grown, including Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec for red wines, and Semillon and Sauvignon for white wines. The estate offers two châteaux: Château Les Plaguettes, which produces Bergerac wines to be drunk young, and Château Seignoret Les Tours, which produces more complex, oak-aged Bergerac and Saussignac wines. The wines are produced with care, using both traditional and modern techniques, and are bottled exclusively on the estate. The Serge Gazziola EARL vineyard offers an authentic wine-tasting experience in the Périgord region.
