Lisa and Ian dared to transport the flavours of India to the slopes of Canigó. Open an Indian restaurant in the land of snails and scorpion fish! What a crazy and above all wonderful idea these two Englishmen had after leaving "Brick Lane" in London. On the menu you can find oriental dishes as well as European classics: Indian menu, bistro or street food. The little extra that made us fall in love with the Indian cooking classes offered on reservation. A nice trip and a great taste experience.

Throughout the week it's the same ritual: at 12 o'clock, a crowd of hungry people gather with smiles on their faces in front of this address in Port Marianne. Gourmets are not mislead, this quality restaurant is the perfect canteen. Its suggestions can be discovered on the spot, in the room or on the terrace, as well as to take away if there are no available chairs. No matter what you choose, the delights are the same: croustillant of all kinds, homemade burgers, pan-fried seasonal vegetables, speculoos and lemon cheesecake, fondant with chestnut cream. Freshness is guaranteed, the dosage is reasonable and the price/quality ratio is absolutely correct. Yum!

For once the Bureau is not moving backwards… Franck'has been managing the bar for four years. In this brasserie in the very beautiful décor, many atmospheres blend. Professional customers in the week and during the day, place of exit for a part of youth "in the evening, and family on weekends, there are for all ages. On the map, calf's paupiette in the county, beans and leeks, or grilled ham, rice and piperade. The office also has a wide selection of wines and a wide range of beers. A brasserie without prétention, frills and like you love them. Please do not confuse this place with the old "At the Office", which is now a concert pub called the "London Tavernel".

This pizzeria, opened since 1965, has become a Montpellier institution. In a beautiful arched room typical of the architecture of the Eccusson, the deco is unpretentious: green, red or white tablecloths, paper table tops and some pretty lighting. The doughs are hand-made and the pizzas cooked over wood fire of good quality. Gourmet people can even opt for the big pizza, but even those who are very hungry won't possibly finish it! The menu offers a choice of thirty pizzas as well as pastas and antipastis dishes. The cuisine is good, but we can still regret the welcome that is not always friendly and prices that are so high, a little too much in view of the service offered.

Like many establishments of Asian specialities in the City, Indochina has been home to the very beginning of Saint-Saëns Avenue. The address is particularly recommendable at lunchtime for copious cheap formulas including Vietnamese salad, nems, rice and meat in choice sauce. Overall, the map offers very classic specialities such as caramel beef, painted duck, chicken sauté in China, beef jumped to Soy sprouts and frogs'legs in curry, citronella or garlic. As often in Vietnamese restaurants, we're in a pretty kitsch room.

Because eating Asian food and restoring the happiness of the nem that glide between our chopsticks is incomparable for who cultivates the art of globe travel, Indochina, with its Vietnamese specialities, its traditional decoration and its salty sweet flavours, is an open door to escape. One of the specialties is the ginger frog, citronella or sake, proof that we are not the only ones in the world to appreciate the tender and goûteuse flesh of the small amphibians legs.
