Maire de Bouzy for 25 years, Georges Vesselle was also director of the vineyards, Perrier-Jouet Mumm and Heidsieck Monopole. Two of her children, Eric and Bruno, also about the vineyard, joined him in 1993. It is them that took over the family business with the death of their father in 2009. In the mountains of Reims, their vineyard extends over nearly 17 acres with grapes to Pinot Noir (90%) and chardonnay (10%). The wines are preserved in the cellars of the estate, carved in chalk with sixteen ft deep at a constant temperature of 10 °C. Welcomed on site, you can also taste the other house specialities, red Bouzy (only red Champagne wine produced) and Ratafia Liqueur.

The vineyards are spread over two terroirs: the Côte des Blancs, classified as a Grand Cru, and the Sézannais hillsides. Respectful of the environment, the vineyard uses integrated viticulture. It is with pleasure and passion that the Pertois family will show you around their facilities, including the property's cellars with their thousands of bottles of a unique cru. In fact, Maison Pertois is the only one to vinify the Grand Cru Blanc de Blanc du Mesnil.

We like the warm welcome, the old press and the beautiful vaulted cellars that we find here. Unavoidable, the Horiot champagne deserves a visit for its cuvées: the special Cuvée Jean-Baptiste, a blend of mostly chardonnay and pinot noir, with its beautiful golden yellow color; its Champagne Brut Rosé, elaborated by maceration in wooden vats, with a dark color compared to a blended rosé (white+red mixed), a pretty raspberry color.

Founded in 1963, the House is today managed by Bruno, Marielle and their 2 children. Independent winegrowers, harvesters and handlers, they meticulously elaborate their wines from A to Z, in which we find all the typicity and authenticity of the Verneuil terroir. Aware of environmental issues, the House is committed to a meticulous and thoughtful viticulture thanks to a perfect osmosis between reasoned practice and ancient methods. No less than 15 champagnes extremely well worked both on the substance and on the form are to be discovered.

Maison Grilliat is located in the heart of Aÿ. Warm and welcoming, we invite you to come and visit our cellar, winery and, of course, our legendary vines. Here, you'll discover the techniques and know-how that have been passed down through four generations. The tour continues and ends with a tasting session. You'll discover the lively and delicate Carte d'Or, which will work wonders with fruity desserts. And don't forget the Millésime 2015 Grand Cru, which will impress you with salt-meadow lamb!

Jacques Tissier, son and grandson of winegrowers, continues the company's history, which began in 1931. On a daily basis, he manages a 5-hectare vineyard. The visit is convivial and punctuated with anecdotes. The range comprises 7 cuvées: Reflet de Terre, Éclat de Terre, Éden de Rosélis, Brut Nature, Ancestrale, Délicatessence, a haute couture Rosé de Saignée and Diogénis Blanc de blancs. You can also discover a ratafia champenois and a marc champenois. Two perfect aperitif products. Some areas are also available for private customers!

Philippe Simon is the fourth generation of winegrowers to run the estate. Here the specificity is the elaboration of an authentic blanc de blancs champagne, with a research of the taste and the aromas of the grape. This research is expressed through five beautiful vintages: Rosé, Extra Brut, Prestige, Brut Brut and Premières Saveurs. The house gives tours of its traditional cellars, the press, the vats and explains the know-how. If you wish to extend your stay, the gîte "Les chambres des Valentines", in Cramant, is at your disposal!

Founded in 1859, the Domaine has recently given itself a facelift with a new cellar and a large parking lot to welcome visitors. The welcome is synonymous with good humor. On the champagne side, a special mention goes to the Cuvée Excellence, the fruit of a single year's harvest and a blend of 50% chardonnay and 50% meunier. If you wish, you can also take a 90-minute ride through the vineyards in a 1974 Cadillac convertible. Emotions guaranteed!

This family business, run by Yannick and Éric Prévoteau, has a vineyard that extends over 12 communes! Through the visit, you will discover that from the press to the marketing, everything happens on site. In the speech, you will feel the real passion of the job! You will be able to taste a part of the range in their new reception area. Let yourself be tempted by the Carte d'Or, a Brut that blends the 3 traditional grape varieties with a generous and solar personality.

The 6.80-hectare estate produces a fine range of fruity, well-balanced champagne wines that have won over the hearts and, above all, the palates of many connoisseurs. Succumb to the Cuvée Spéciale 2007, composed of 30% pinot noir, 30% pinot meunier and 40% chardonnay. A delicious wine with interesting notes of dried flowers. Another favorite is Cuvée Brut Extra, a 50% pinot noir, 50% meunier that reveals a robust yet elegant temperament. Ideal as an aperitif or at the start of a meal.

Since 1974, the domaine has forged a solid reputation for wines of unquestionable quality. Cuvée Carte Blanche Brut, a blend of 3 grape varieties with a predominance of meunier, is a well-balanced, supple wine, with aromas of white fruit and white flowers. A perfect aperitif wine. The Cuvée Prestige is a must-taste. Dominated by chardonnay and meunier, this wine has subtle citrus and white fruit aromas, freshness and refreshing acidity.

This vast estate of 40 ha is mainly planted with pinot noir and worked in reasoned culture. The wines benefit from a minimum of 22 months of aging, and the result is very qualitative for a very good price/pleasure ratio. Discover their authentic cuvées, full of conviviality.The classics: Brut Sélection (70% pinot noir, 30% chardonnay) and Brut Rosé (70% pinot noir, 30% chardonnay).The pure ones: Brut Nature Zéro dosage (50% pinot noir, 50% chardonnay) and Brut BDB (100% chardonnay). It is around one of the oldest wine-producing villages in Champagne, in Rilly-la-Montagne, that Couvreur Philippart grows its 7.5 hectares of vines, mainly pinot noir. It is this variety, blended with miller and chardonnay, which is used to make the Grande Réserve Brut. The mouth is ample, vinous and evokes notes of cooked fruits. Another nice cuvée to taste is the Cuvée Rosé. This wine, with a subtle nose of red fruits, reveals a fleshy and expressive mouth. Magic on a strawberry pie!

The Tribaut family story begins with grandfather Gaston, who acquired his first vines in 1935 and bequeathed his "G." to the estate. Today, Valérie and Vincent, his grandchildren, have taken up the family torch. The estate has come a long way to respect tradition, of course, but is also at the cutting edge of modernity: gleaming stainless steel vats, a VIP cellar and a reception room illuminated by a magnificent panoramic bay window overlooking the vines and the hills.

This young house born in 1976 is full of assets. The owners welcome you in the cellar and the reception room of the domain. The Brut selection is harmonious, with a rustic touch. From the Blanc de Blancs brut, we appreciate the finesse, a pleasant bubble. The Blanc de Blancs extra brut (awarded at the Challenge international du vin) is a lively and dry champagne. To finish, the very beautiful vintage Millésime is presented in a nice bottle, a well worked vintage.

The prestigious Maison Pierre is located in the village of Mesnil-sur-Oger, and today farms just over 18 hectares of Chardonnay in some of the finest crus. Discover the special cuvée "Les Chétillons", the estate's most representative wine. This racy, mineral 2006 vintage has won rave reviews from the press: Bettane & Dessauve, 17.5/20; Vinous (Antonio Galloni), 95 points; (Richard Juhlin), 93 points; Wine Advocate (D. Inspired by Biodynamic viticulture, Marc's wife Emmanuelle has breathed her creative spirit into the world of Champagne AUGUSTIN cuvées. Every aspect, from identity and names to colors and materials, faithfully reflects the House's philosophy. These cuvées, rooted in the elements of nature, are the authentic reflection of their parcels. No artificial manipulations, just the pure expression of terroir. Marc and Emmanuel call themselves "coeurviculteur": they want to grow and mature their champagnes from the heart.

Connecting with life.Certified "High Environmental Value" and "Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne", this fabulous family estate is continuing to convert part of its vineyard to organic farming. The owners, independent winegrowers, will give you a 30-minute tour of their Maison before introducing you to their wines. Creator of exceptional bubbles.Artisan-winegrowers since 1905 on the land of Aÿ, one of Champagne's finest crus, Nadège & James Richard-Fliniaux today perpetuate with wisdom and passion the ancestral know-how handed down to them by Fernand Fliniaux, Nadège's grandfather. Production of Richard-Fliniaux champagnes is confidential. Five Grand Cru cuvées are produced in small batches (a few hundred bottles per wine).

The Gosset-Brabant family are true purists who work their wines according to the rules of the art, and prioritize qualitative excellence at every stage of the winemaking process. Today, Michel and Christian Gosset manage a 9.6-hectare vineyard planted with 65% pinot noir, 15% chardonnay and 20% meunier. Two cuvées in their range melted our hearts, starting with the Grande Réserve Brut and its notes of cooked peach and honey, followed by the Millésime 2002, which reveals a sublime aromatic bouquet of white flowers and lemongrass.

Here, the creation of Champagne wines has followed in the footsteps of the wine nursery business, a family tradition since the turn of the century. In this beautiful vineyard, care is always taken to select the best plants according to their genetic characteristics and the plots from which to appreciate the quality of the hand-picked grapes. For visits or purchases, the welcome is warm and friendly. The Rosé Grand Cru and the Millésime Grand Cru are surprisingly complex and full of charm.

Pierre and Marie-Paule Cheval-Gatinois, who represent the ^11th generation, will tell you all about their 7.5 ha, 100% Pinot Noir Grand Cru vineyard. Here, the musts are vinified vine by vine and variety by variety. Disgorgement is still carried out the old-fashioned way, on the fly. After an hour's visit, we move into the reception room to discover the entire range. The wines are of the highest quality, especially their coteaux-champenois "Aÿ rouge", made with grapes from their two oldest plots.

Claude Giraud has a great imagination when it comes to sharing the history and spirit of champagne. Through Henri Giraud's estate, he invites you to discover the origins and techniques of champagne by visiting the cellars and taking part in a commented tasting of four emblematic cuvées from the house. The (AY) xperience package, on the other hand, allows you to taste 6 of the house's cuvées after a tour of the estate and its cellars, accompanied by refined delicacies during a "food and wine pairing" tasting workshop.

At the heart of this house, founded in 1872, expertise has been handed down from father to son and daughter for 8 generations. Today, Séverine and Caroline Launois continue the adventure, producing a fine range of champagnes. A particular favorite is the oeil de Perdrix cuvée, with its spicy nose and complex mouthfeel. Their website also showcases the finest nearby monuments: an enchanting château and an educational museum. The estate also offers harvest days.

Here's an amazing house! Marie-Hélène Waris, supported by her 3 children, is a biodynamic winegrower in Avize. The rest of the time, she works as a ceramic painter. At her place, the soil resonates and the juice whispers. Her wines are full of strength, character and originality. Love at first sight for the Racine de Trois cuvée, with its magnetic packaging. The house also offers visitors Le Nid des Anges, a cocoon gîte that will take good care of its guests.

The estate comprises around 40 hectares of vines on six prestigious terroirs. Pressing and vinification are carried out in Avize, in keeping with the Champagne traditions inherited from the family. Here you can see the 3 riddling systems. Each year, the company produces around 300,000 bottles. Michel Gonet Brut Réserve is a blend of 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay from Vindey, where vines were already famous in Roman times, and from Montgueux, a chalky hillock excellent for Chardonnay. Not to be missed!

Corbon champagnes are 4 magnificent vintages: the Brut d'Autrefois, a champagne for exceptional moments; the Chardonnay 2006, a vintage Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru champagne to be served with refined dishes; Absolument Brut, the house cuvée, not dosed, to be served as an aperitif; and the Prestige cuvée, a blended champagne that allows for all kinds of combinations: fish, cheese, charcuterie... From the classic visit to the oenological escapade for novices and initiates, Agnès Corbon adapts to the visitor with a lot of pedagogy.

Christian, Yveline and Anthony share with us their job as owner-harvesters. They explain that Chardonnay reigns supreme on the Côte des Blancs and that part of the vineyard is located in the Marne Valley, where the two other Champagne grape varieties are planted. This house practices the reasoned culture, limiting the treatments for a better quality of the grapes. After blending, the wine is then aged in oak barrels resting on their lees and stirred regularly.

The family has its origins in Chouilly, from the first acre acquired more than 200 years ago to the almost 30 hectares exploited today. Brigitte, François, Rémi, Olivier or Jérôme are the ones who receive and explain the work and the cuvées: Tradition, Rosé, Blanc de Blancs, Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut or Exigence. Michèle and Delphine welcome you in all simplicity to the Maison Cazals which was the country house of Léon Bourgeois, former President of the Council, Nobel Peace Prize winner in 1920. During the visit, which lasts about 2 hours, this pair will tell you the history of this house since its foundation in 1897. The tasting takes place in the living room or in the garden in Oger when the weather permits. You will discover Bulles de Craie, Carte Or Grand Cru, Années Folles, Rosée, Vive Grand Cru, Millésime, Rosé XV, the Chapelle du Clos and the Clos Cazals.

For three generations now, this fine domaine has been producing Grands Crus Blanc de Blancs champagnes in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. A warm welcome awaits you, and the team takes great pleasure in sharing their passion for the craft with you. You'll also discover the secrets behind the making of vin des rois. Olivier and Stéphanie Waris are the fourth generation of winegrowers to have settled in Avize, a village classified as a Grand Cru in the Côte des Blancs. Since 1997, they have been at the helm of their Champagne house, Champagne Waris-Hubert, which produces wines of character. These passionate growers and handlers love to share their knowledge, and offer you a tour of their house and a tasting in their cellar.Crus de caractère: Armorial, Ercanbald. Premiers Crus: Succulente, Estence. Grands Crus: Albescent, Lilyale, Blanche, Eminence.

Jacques Diebolt, the current manager, learned his trade from his grandfather who owned 5 hectares of vines in Cramant. 1978 marked a real turning point in the history of the estate with the construction of a vast cellar opposite the house. The numerous plots of land form a beautiful mosaic of terroirs and give birth to 6 champagnes praised by real connoisseurs and the specialized press. We have a particular fondness for the Fleur de Passion, a precious and delicate wine.

Jean-Louis Bonnaire carries on the tradition of a house founded in 1932 by Fernand Bouquemont. A 22-hectare vineyard gives birth to several wines. The brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru is the very expression of the Cramant terroir at its most youthful. Our favorite is Cuvée Variance, a 100% Chardonnay champagne vinified and aged in oak barrels. An expressive nose reveals notes of vanilla and white flowers. On the palate, woody aromas are sure to delight gourmets in search of a champagne with character.

The family's 28 ha vineyard is located entirely on the Côte des Blancs in Cuis and Vertus^1er cru, Cramant, Oger and Chouilly Grand cru. More than half of the estate is planted with vines at least 40 years old. Olivier and Didier Gimonnet produce exclusively blanc de blancs champagnes, with the exception of a highly atypical Rosé de Blancs. The range is extremely varied. A must for all self-respecting lovers of great Chardonnays!

Located exclusively in Chouilly in the Côte des Blancs, 95% of the vineyard is planted with Grand Cru chardonnay and pinot noir grapes. Experience and tradition, combined with state-of-the-art techniques, guarantee a high standard of quality. Produced with respect for nature, two of our wines have been a great success: Champagne Brut Réserve, a 100% chardonnay, and Cuvée Grand Bouquet 2008, an open wine with notes of citrus and frangipane. The estate's cellars are located on rue des Tarnauds and can be visited by appointment. The estate's presses, vat room and laboratory are just some of the "curiosities" that will give you an insight into the champagne-making process. Cuvée Origine, a Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru, is a non-vintage brut aged for 3 years on laths. At the tasting session, you can sample 2-3 champagnes. Near the winery, you'll find the Jardin des Vignes, a museographic space where you can learn about the terroir of Champagne and how the vines are cultivated.

At Domaine Champagne Lamiable, you'll meet Ophélie and Orianne, or Jean-Pierre, the father who has been running the estate for over forty years. At Champagne Castelger, Florence Lourdez welcomes you to a large, elegantly decorated room. With genuine passion, she will explain her profession and the typicality of her range. 9 hectares of HVE-certified vines have been farmed for 4 generations. We particularly enjoyed the tour, followed by a tasting, to get a feel for the craftsmanship involved. In addition to its 10 carefully crafted wines, Florence also offers 4 attractive, reasonably priced guest rooms, ideal for a stay with family or friends.

This family-run estate, now run by the^5th generation, cultivates some forty parcels (14 ha). Their status as independent winegrowers is a guarantee of quality for all wine lovers. 8 cuvées and a red coteaux-champenois are waiting to be discovered. The Joly family have also acquired an old farmhouse close to the estate, and have opened the Gîte de la Croix-Joly, which can accommodate up to 17 people. This comfortable gîte boasts an indoor swimming pool under the barn and a gym. It's sure to be a memorable stay!

Located in oeuilly, the Maison Tarlant invites you to a superb moment of discovery and pleasure. Here, a member of the family will give you a guided tour and show you his job from A to Z. To finish in beauty, it is in a very convivial atmosphere that you will be able to taste some of the wines of the range. The different vintages elaborated by Benoît and Mélanie Tarlant will certainly be a real discovery. We're particularly fond of the Rosé Zéro vintage and its coral color or the Matinale 2003 and its notes of dried flowers. Divine!

Today, the^3rd generation of winegrowers skillfully manage this beautiful 10-hectare vineyard in Mareuil, Avenay, Bergères-les-Vertus, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and Oger. All 3 traditional Champagne grape varieties are represented. After a friendly guided tour of the cellars and press, it's time for a tasting session. Our favorites are the Brut Millésime Blanc de blancs 2018 and the Brut Millésime 2012, two exceptional cuvées that are currently unavailable due to their overwhelming popularity!

This family business works 3.5 hectares of grand cru vines and produces 20,000 bottles of champagne as well as the red Ambonnay champenois hillsides. Created in 1930, it is today the third generation which holds the torch and all the production is sold on the spot! We are received in the refectory of the grape pickers, then on the way for a free visit which allows to taste a wine of assembly after having seen the press which dates from the end of the XVIIIth century.

Today, the^4th generation runs this beautiful 8.5-hectare family estate. You can visit the traditional winery, the cellars and an exhibition of tools recalling the family's past. Taste the Brut Tradition, a blend of 75% Pinot Noir and 25% Chardonnay, and the Cuvée Henri-III, named after the king who authorized the first wine fair in 1578. The House's red Ambonnay is not to be outdone. This very fine coteaux-champenois is perfect with characterful dishes.

Strengthened by values and traditions patiently acquired over the years, Pierre Déthune and his wife Sophie develop the know-how of a long line of winegrowers. A beautiful property of 7 ha allows them to elaborate 9 different cuvées: a demi-sec, an extra-brut, a brut, a rosé, a blanc de blancs (2015), a blanc de noirs and three particular cuvées: the Prestige, the Cuvée millésimée entirely aged in oak barrels (2012), and the Cuvée à l'ancienne (2012), which rests on laths for six years. Not to mention the ratafia (pinot noir and alcohol).

In Marie-Noëlle Ledru's magnificent estate, the work in the vineyard is accomplished with rigor and passion. Upon reservation, the mistress of the house offers you the possibility to visit her cellars, to taste her wines and to ask her all the questions about champagne. Her wines are energetic and vibrant. We especially like the Assemblage Extra-Brut and the Cuvée du Goulté 2009. This is an address that wine lovers will never tire of visiting!

A great local figure in Bouzy, Paul Louis Martin actively participated in the founding of the Bouzy cooperative. His son, Paul, helped him to dig their cellars. Today it is his daughter, Francine Martin, and his grandson, Vincent, who have taken over. The House produces a brut champagne that blends chardonnay and pinot noir, a Brut Grand Cru and also the Cuvée Vincent, a 100% chardonnay champagne. Authentic and generous wines in the image of this passionate family!

In this family, we have been winegrowers from father to son for 3 generations. The vineyard of about fifteen hectares is worked with thought and common sense (VDC and HVE level 3). The House ships more than half of its production worldwide, which shows how its success is growing. The welcome at the House is always warm and allows you to discover the century-old cellars, dug under 25 meters of chalk, with a capacity of 3 million bottles that age for a minimum of 48 months. The House also has a very beautiful residence with 5 rooms.
