Founded in 1915, Champagne AR Lenoble is one of the few champagne houses to remain entirely family-owned and independent. Today, the^4th generation, embodied by Anne and her brother Antoine, is at the helm. Guarantors of ever-improving but never-equalled quality, together they craft champagnes of the utmost precision from their 18-hectare vineyard on the appellation's finest slopes. Thanks to hard work, Alain Thiénot, a banker and broker by profession, has succeeded in becoming one of the great names in Champagne in less than 25 years. Today, the group's vineyards cover 725 ha across Champagne, Bordeaux and Languedoc. This brand belongs to the closed circle of great champagne houses. It was named in 1867 by its founder, Maître Daubresse, a prominent figure from Reims. Created by oenologist Laurent Fedou from selected crus from the Montagne de Reims, Vallée de la Marne and Côte des Blancs regions, the range comprises 3 wines: Cuvée de la Reine (Brut, Rosé and Brut Premier Cru), Cuvée de la Sommelière and Brut Passion d'une Reine. In 1994, the Alain Thiénot Group, which ranks eighth among champagne houses, acquired the brand.

Founded in 1757, Maison Abelé 1757 was acquired by the Spanish Freixenet group in 1985. Thanks to its "maison-boutique" status, the brand is free to select the best terroirs owned by quality delivery partners for tailor-made vinification. In 1925, Eugène Ralle, grandfather of the current generation, created his House through hard work. 30 years later, his grandson Pierre Arnould created his own brand. Joining forces, Pierre Arnould and Eugène Ralle Champagnes offer two distinct yet complementary ranges. The Cuvée Aurore, with its 6 years in the cellar, reveals a superb bouquet of spices. And what about the Brut Rosé? A generous, sunny 100% pinot noir!

Located in Tinqueux, on the outskirts of Reims, this second Cave et Terroirs shop offers more than 800 references of regional wines from the four corners of France, local champagnes including the famous Champagne Prestige des Sacres, but also spirits, rum, whisky, vodka, port, brandies and liqueurs, enough to seduce all lovers. RM since 1955, the House is committed to producing champagnes from the sole terroir of Vincelles. Richard and Véronique Petit cultivate with love 2 magnificent terroirs classified as Grands Crus and make their own wines with patience and high standards. The range is now composed of 3 great vintages: Nuit Blanche, Ambrosie and Nymphea. At the tasting, we had a weakness for the first one. Grand Cru de la Côte des Blancs born in 2009, this champagne is a 100% chardonnay with a nice nose. A pure, fine and clean wine that enlivens the palate of the amateurs and is discovered on refined iodized dishes such as a tartar with two salmon... wild of course!

This champagne is the result of the work done by disabled people in the vineyard. Located in the Champagne vineyards, the E.S.A.T. (Etablissement et Services d'Aide par le Travail) of Sézanne has focused part of its activity on the work of the vine and the wine of Champagne. The range consists of a Brut and a Rosé, with a high proportion of reserve wines (about 45%) which guarantees a constant quality. The Brut is an elegant accompaniment to savory dishes or a convivial aperitif. The Rosé will reveal itself with dishes of character.

At Moklair, roaster and coffee bar, we discover the richness of a specialty coffee! Here, all the coffees have an SCA (Specialty Coffee Association of America) score higher than 85 when imported, which promises a rich selection with a beautiful diversity and an amazing aromatic complexity. In Vertus, in the heart of the Marne, in an exceptional wine region known as the "Côte des Blancs", lies the 23-hectare family vineyard, now managed by Michel Maillard.

At harvest time, the opulent Chardonnays proudly emerge from the south/south-east exposure and unique chalky soil. A house style handed down from father to son, an ancestral know-how and very high quality grapes contribute to the elaboration of champagnes with a unique minerality and freshness.

This little Champagne jewel spread over 7 parcels entirely enclosed by walls (one of the few to obtain this appellation) is managed by Charlotte, the^5th generation, and her father Hervé Le Gallais. Their status as harvesters and handlers is a privilege to control the entire process from harvest to marketing. Sustainable cultivation, rigorous monitoring of the vineyard, slow and qualitative maturation at the rhythm of nature and the seasons contribute to the elaboration of cuvées that are each the reflection of a parcel, a blend and a terroir.

Welcome to the Domaine Proy Goulard currently managed by Lucile and Alexandre. The duo manages a vineyard of 4.5 ha. The vines, 35 years old, are planted on terroirs with a strong identity thanks to clay-silt, sandy-silt and chalky soils. This diversity offers a rich and complex aromatic palette. A natural and traditional vinification, an ageing time between 2 and 7 years as well as a low dosage allow the champagnes to express all the typicity of the terroirs they embody. 5 wines are to be discovered.

The Domaine Luc Mérat, whose history began in 1930, is located in the heart of the Massif de Saint-Thierry in the Merfy area. The current owner, Luc Mérat, is very involved and committed and was the former president of the "Jeunes Viticulteurs" group at Nicolas Feuillatte. A vineyard of 7 ha allows to ensure a constant quality of the wines and thus to perpetuate the gustative signature of the House. On this estate, located in the village of Méry-Prémecy, great importance is attached to sustainable viticulture, in order to respect not only the wines themselves, but also the men and women who contribute to their production every day.

The House offers a range of 7 wines, including two "100% Meunier" wines. One, made from old vines, reveals complex notes of stewed fruit and nuts. The second, a non-dosed wine, is a perfect match for a delicious endive salad with Comté cheese.

Champagne by Fernand is an ultra-modern, fresh and poetic brand. For Xavier and Vanessa, harvesters and handlers with 3 generations of know-how intact, the love of a job well done and a sense of conviviality are at the heart of everything they do. Maison Bonnevie-Bocart is now run by the^3rd generation in Billy-Le-Grand. Independent winegrowers and harvesters-manipulants, the family continues to develop the vineyard in line with family values: respect for tradition and the environment to produce 8 beautifully complex wines. A special mention goes to their Blanc de Blancs Millésimé, which offers a deliciously gourmet mouthfeel. Magical with langoustine carpaccio!

Winegrowers since 1948, Pierre and Jacky now run the estate. The 8.5-hectare vineyard extends over 3 communes and is cultivated using sustainable methods. Among the 9 wines in the range, our favorite is the 100% chardonnay, single-vineyard cuvée Les Grimprés 1955, a champagne for connoisseurs. This champagne will enhance your seafood platters! The Domaine has also opened a gîte, the "Vert Cottage", a peaceful haven of character covered in Virginia creeper, where life is good.

Winemakers for 4 generations, it is today Jean-Baptiste Martin who holds the reins of the House. He works the vineyard in the purest respect of nature. The vineyard is located on a hillside and enjoys a favorable exposure, microclimate and soil that allow the wines to reach their full maturity. Worthy heir to ancestral know-how dating back to 1792, Dominique Boulard, the current owner of the company, has been in love with his land since his earliest childhood. His years of study in Burgundy strongly influenced his approach to cultivation and respect for the soil. Champagne Élodie D is a women's story, and has been for 8 generations! Today, the estate is certified as a High Environmental Value and Sustainable Viticulture. 6 fine, delicately crafted Premier Cru champagnes to discover in their floral dressings: Brut, Demi-Sec, Blanc de Blancs, Rosé de Saignée, Belle Âme (100% Pinot Noir Vintage) and Résurgence (also a Blanc de Noirs Vintage). Welcome to the heart of one of Champagne's oldest families, whose roots date back to 1653. Welcome to this House with its 200 years of history! Today, the eighth generation is proud of the heritage passed on by Louis-Victor, its founder, and is developing the family business with great energy, and is putting its vineyards on a sustainable viticulture path, with a focus on organic methods. A beautiful evolution towards modernity but always in the respect of the ancestral know-how. The flagship wine of the House, the Cuvée 1809, tied with two hemp threads in the shape of a cross, is a good example. A wine dressed in authenticity and full of history!

Very attached to his roots, David Faivre represents the^3rd generation. Today he is a terroir developer, supported by his wife Jessica, who has revolutionized everything on the estate. The vineyard is certified HVE-VDC and is currently undergoing organic conversion. 6 finely crafted cuvées make up the House's range. Behind the chivalric emblem of the domaine and its status as a harvester-manipulator lie generations of passionate winemakers who have been bringing consistent quality to their wines since 1968. The estate is currently run by Mrs Deville and her 4 sons. The distinctive feature of this estate is that its wines are blended predominantly with Grand Cru pinot noir... where chardonnays usually preside. A range of 7 fine, bold champagnes to discover.

After starting the business under the name Champagne Brochet Hervieux, Vincent, the current owner, bought Domaine Les Croix in 2010 and decided to sign the bottles with his name. In Écueil, on south-east facing slopes, Vincent works his vineyard with a strong dominant of pinot noir, in the purest respect of the environment. His son Gaspard is in charge of the soil work. We are particularly fond of their Brut Nature 2005 and their carefully decorated eponymous gîte.

At the heart of this family business located in Verzenay, ancestral know-how has been passed on since 1930 and history continues to be written thanks to the enlightened vision of Sabine and her husband who represent the^4th generation. Their vineyard covers 5 crus, all classified as Premier or Grand Cru, a guarantee of excellent quality that presages a magnificent aromatic alchemy. The House has a beautiful tasting room where you can taste the whole range of wines while enjoying the magnificent view of the vineyards and neighboring villages from the terrace!

The Domaine is nowadays famous for its rare and atypical wines. The family does not practice malolactic fermentation unlike the vast majority of Champagne winemakers. All the wines are aged for at least 4 to 9 years. The range is magnificent and in particular the Cuvée Collection Roger-Constant, a high fashion vintage produced in very limited quantities. The estate also has an 18th century guest house called "Millésime et une nuit".

Jean-Pierre and his son Julien work a beautiful "Grand Cru" classified vineyard in Mesnil-sur-Oger. If you pass one day by Rilly-la-Montagne, do not hesitate to stop to discover this House built in 1930 by Marcel Lassalle. Today it is Eric Lassalle who proudly carries on the family values. On the vineyard side, the vines flourish on 7.5 hectares spread over 3 exceptional terroirs classified as Premier Cru: Chigny-les-Roses, Rilly-la-Montagne and Ludes. Their 5 cuvées are balanced wines with rich and complex aromas.

Independent winemakers for over 35 years, committed and proud of their profession, the people who make up the history of Champagne Lacroix take care of all the stages of winemaking and take real pleasure in showing the fruit of their precious work. Anxious to offer champagnes of the highest quality, the estate has been equipped with a modern pressing center and vat room since 2010. Since 2016, you can also discover their tasting space. A vineyard of 13 hectares with a strong dominance of pinot meunier allows the production of 9 wines.

The 4 ha vineyard, mostly pinot noir and chardonnay, is planted on a clay-limestone soil and enjoys a very favorable exposure. Arthur Marc, a passionate winegrower and heir of 12 generations, follows a reasoned culture, where small yields and meticulous harvests are legion in order to never compromise with quality. Founded in the 19th century by a family of wine merchants, the Domaine today owns a beautiful vineyard of 15 hectares spread over 4 renowned crus. This vineyard is worked with natural and environmentally friendly practices in order to create healthy and natural wines that will age in the cellar for at least 4 years for the classic vintages and 9 years for the Millésimes. The traditional grape varieties of meunier (40%), chardonnay (40%) and pinot noir (20%) offer greedy, fruity and floral champagnes with a good balance of alcohol and acidity.

This 4.2 hectare vineyard, dominated by Pinot Meunier, is managed in a reasoned culture thanks to techniques used in organic viticulture. Certified HVE since 2010, biodiversity is thus preserved and the use of phytosanitary products is greatly reduced. In Ville-Dommange, since 1590, several generations of coopers and then winemakers have succeeded one another to write the history of this beautiful house, now run by Véronique and Florent Bergeronneau-Marion. In 2007, the talented duo created the "Clos des Bergeronneau" planted with pinot noir and meunier and facing south-east. A magical and rare place where you can taste a flute of their eponymous vintage from a terrace with an absolutely heavenly view.

Located in Écueil, Nicolas Maillart owns an exceptional vineyard classified as Premier and Grand Cru. In this deep-rooted family, the vines have been worked since 1753. Very committed to the preservation of the environment, Nicolas has installed photovoltaic panels to self-manage his energy production. 6 vintages, a ratafia and a fine de Marne are to be discovered. We especially like "Les Francs de Pied", a rare and sumptuous plot of land!

Passionate winegrowers for 5 generations, the Crépaux family owns vineyards in different areas of the Champagne region such as the prestigious Côte des Blancs, the Montagne de Reims or the Vallée de la Marne. For more than 20 years, it is Sébastien Crépaux who has taken over the torch. You can count on his love for a job well done! Each cuvée has been finely thought out. For example, for a top-of-the-range cuvée, Sébastien favors vinification in oak barrels with pumping over of the beds during the entire vinification. 5 magnificent cuvées are to be discovered.

Franck Début works an 8-hectare vineyard with a strong predominance of meunier grapes, using sustainable viticulture, in the purest respect of traditions. For the neophytes, the website of the House is very informative on the history of the village and the wine making process. These owner-growers have made time their ally and patience their secret. Stainless steel vats, malolactic fermentation... everything is put in place to preserve the personality of each wine whose taste signature is definitely round and greedy.

For these grower-manipulators, being a winegrower is first and foremost a family adventure exercised with passion. Mostly cultivated with meunier and pinot noir grapes, the 6-hectare vineyard is classified as Premier Cru and worked using the most natural methods possible. Located in a Premier Cru village, the family business was founded by Françoise Marchand and Robert Boutillez.
