Its capacity does not exceed 350 seats, the concerts remain intimate, far from the zeniths and the gigantic and impersonal halls. The Comédie de l'Est has changed its name under the impetus of its new directors, Émilie Capliez and Matthieu Cruciani, who are keen to make its local roots more visible. The main mission of the Cinéma Star is to allow film lovers of all kinds to enjoy auteur films screened in their original version with subtitles. The programming is of high quality, and many national artists come here to test their new shows. The most? The possibility of having dinner or a drink before or after the show.

The Palace shows films in their original version. The selection is rigorous and alternates between some blockbusters and art house films. The combination is relevant and effective. The current director has managed to take over the reins of this unique downtown cinema and to get back on track in terms of admissions. The year 2022 was rather good despite a very delicate national economic situation. He regularly organizes unique screenings of legendary films as well as exhibitions of local artists.
