With an average of 300 shows per year and more than 20,000 spectators in its two small halls of 70 and 100 seats, it is certain that La Chouc', as regulars like to call it, remains one of the essential places in Strasbourg's cultural life. French, German and Alsatian languages, all styles meet in this theatre. Roger Siffer, the master of the house, is committed to his cabaret and carefully selects the shows represented there: concerts, comedy, cabaret and improv theatre to be discovered every season. A charming little theatre in the city centre, with a nice little restaurant next door.

Carte très complète et plats délicieux à la choucrouterie, le restaurant attenant au théâtre. Les plats sont généreux sans être lourds et permettent de découvrir la gastronomie locale dans une ambiance conviviale, qui privilégient effectivement les grandes tablées ! Service exceptionnel !

Petit cabaret sympa, mieux vaut réserver sa place. Il faut aussi connaître l'actualité et la politique locale si on ne veut pas être largué. Deux représentations simultanées, l'une en alsacien et l'autre en français, et les comédiens passent allègrement d'une scène à l'autre. Bon moment de rigolade.

Une carte très riche qui revisite avec originalité les spécialités alsaciennes. Une sélection de plats sucrés-salés très intéressantes. La cuisine est bonne et efficace. Le cadre est à l'image du restaurant, original et franc. Un défaut : ambiance bruyante. On y passe un excellent moment pour rire entre amis, mais il faut éviter les rendez-vous romantiques... Profitez-enr voir la revue satirique au théâtre (même adresse).
