Here, we dine to the delicate sound of the grand piano... The cuisine is international and accompanied by 135 references of wine. You'll come for the view, the stilted but not excessive atmosphere, but above all because this address is an institution that we warmly recommend.

50 meters from the harbor, since 1984, there is a small, preserved and friendly tavern with a cheerfully colored garden. The menu changes frequently, guaranteeing freshness and seasonal renewal for the regulars who come in large numbers. The service is impeccable, distinguished and friendly. The oldest tavern in Plaka! The dishes and the name of the establishment come from Maria, the grandmother of the current managers. While the cuisine is traditional, Cretan, tasty and very well presented, the decoration is modern and features beautiful architecture. The baked fish served with vegetables is a simple and traditional dish that we warmly recommend because it has the taste of good family cooking. And at the end, try Maria's surprise dessert, it's delicious! Good service.

You should know that this tavern exists, hidden in the hotel. It is a traditional restaurant, once run by Stamatis' parents. Today, the latter provides the service while his wife Zampeta prepares the dishes. On the menu, particularly successful, we had: caper salad with onions, chickpea soup, rooster in wine and lamb in the oven. Organic vegetables are grown in family fields. They also raise their rabbits, lambs, chickens, sheep and pigs. Homemade desserts are delicious.

Follow the guide (signs) to find this old building with blue shutters. A small, beautifully decorated and plant-rich inner courtyard - as well as some tables in an inner room, and others on a superb terrace with a view of the sea, ideal for sunset on the caldera. Opened in 1976, the family tavern Manthos is one of the best addresses on the northwest coast of Corfu. The restaurant is now completely renovated in a modern and bright style, well helped by the huge panoramic terrace overlooking the beach. A must-see in Corfu. The "Café du 7e^ciel " (7th^Heaven Café) is a unique place, set high above Logas beach, and is reputed to be the best place on the island to watch the sunset. It has to be said that Spiros and Yourgos had the flair to build a glass footbridge there, on top of the splendid grey cliffs set against the turquoise sea. Skala is a nice restaurant, set in a soothing environment. The staff is attentive, the Greek cuisine is of very good quality and served with a nice effort of presentation. All the classics are there: moussaka, salads, meats, and a great deal of fish and seafood. A selection of local wines is also featured, in particular those of the renowned Domaine Sigalas, based in Oia. Busy contemplating your plate, you will soon forget that there is no particular view. Remember to make a reservation though.
