A family resort which is among the vast ski fields that make the Savoy rich, especially with the Espace Diamant linking Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe, Crest-Voland Cohennoz, Flumet and Praz-sur-Arly with Saisies. The downhill ski area covers the village of Grand-Bornand and the high-altitude hamlet of Chinaillon. Over the years, ski jumping has become an integral part of alpine ski training, perpetuating the birth of this growing legend.

An "all-weather" toboggan run on rails awaits you, offering a breathtaking experience for even the bravest of riders. This adventure stretches for almost 800 meters, with sections reaching up to 8 meters above the ground. You'll face blistering accelerations, sheer turns, 360 and 540-degree spins, as well as a series of thrilling waves. But don't worry, if you prefer a less intense experience, simply grab the joysticks and adjust your speed to your heart's content!

A magical site overlooking the lake of Serre-Ponçon in the heart of an immense larch forest. A ski area with beautiful slopes for experienced skiers and areas designed for beginners through the woods. In total, 100 km with 36 slopes, 17 lifts and 1 recent and well thought out snowpark. Numerous white activities - snowshoeing, tobogganing, paragliding, snow scooters - and many summer possibilities - hiking, mountain biking, SpeedLine... - when the heat crushes the shores of the Serre-Ponçon lake below.

In recent years, Risoul, in association with the Forêt Blanche ski area, has made its mark in the field of new snow sports. With 116 runs totalling 185 km, the area offers a wide variety of courses, including 7 snowparks, 2 boardercrosses, a renowned KL run, and two natural toboggan runs. Forêt Blanche is a welcoming destination for all skiers. Cross-country ski enthusiasts also have 17 km of marked trails at their disposal. In summer, white water sports await you on the Durance and Guil rivers.

As a result of global warming at high altitude, this glacier - one of Europe's largest skiable glaciers - is losing its thickness, making it impossible to ski in July and August. So, depending on conditions, it's a late spring/early summer opening to enjoy this unique site. After taking the Jandri Express and a sub-glacial funicular, you can climb the Dôme de Puy-Sallié to an altitude of 3,421 metres, opening up a superb panorama from the Belvédère des Écrins. Pleasant and friendly, Pra-Loup is one of the most famous resorts of the Alpes de Haute Provence. Its 180 km of tracks allow to connect the domain of Foux-d'Allophones by the Agneliers. The station has 4 lifts, 80 of which are cable, 40 of which have a purple brand Milka… and the famous Rider Space, which offers   ha of facilities for extreme sports. The resort on a family atmosphere (Label family Plus Mountain in 2006) with activities for all ages  : a fitted luge space, quad and 4 x 4 children and a creative animation program  : creation of neige, hunting of clues, contes,), modelling and carving… Practice if time isn't the  !

It all began in 1951 with the construction of a service ropeway, a rudimentary device designed to transport equipment and tools by cable. In 1952, the cableway was officially inaugurated. Today, the cableway takes you to an altitude of 2,010 meters in just 3 minutes, offering spectacular views in both summer and winter. With gradients of up to 92%, an ascent of 586 meters, and some 170,000 passengers carried in winter.

The Espace Diamant ski area comprises 6 village resorts, including the charming Praz-sur-Arly, with a skiable area stretching from 1,000 to 2,069 meters above sea level, between the Beaufortain massif, the Val d'Arly and the Mont-Blanc region: 192 kilometers of downhill skiing, 170 trails, 82 lifts, 123 kilometers of Nordic skiing, as well as 5 snowparks and 3 boardercrosses make up this vast winter sports area, which is more than equal to the biggest in the Alps. Located 4 kilometers from Megève, the Praz-sur-Arly ski area focuses on family activities that are accessible to all: downhill and Nordic skiing, and new winter sports. Nostalgic skiers will appreciate an introduction to the yooner, the modernized version of the paret, a toboggan with one runner, or ski joëring, pulled by a horse. The ski school runs a "snow garden" area for ages 3 and up. From the age of 8, snowshoeing is the perfect way to discover animal tracks. More unusual and for all ages, a hot-air balloon flight over the Alps for an unforgettable day. For those who prefer to keep their feet on the ground and watch the majestic ballet of the balloons, the "montgolfiades" bring the resort to life every January. In summer, the Espace Diamant opens its trails to mountain bikers, trail runners and hikers, who enjoy a unique panorama of the Mont-Blanc chain. Alpine skiing in the Contamines-Hauteluce area is possible thanks to the 25 ski lifts located between 1,200 and 2,500 meters of altitude, giving access to 48 runs over 120 km. 3 secured Xzones dedicated to new glides. This ski area is part of the larger Evasion Mont-Blanc ski area. For Nordic skiing, 23 km of groomed and marked trails (paying), on the classified site of Notre-Dame-de-la-Gorge. The Dévoluy ski area links two resorts: Superdévoluy and La Joue du Loup. It lies between altitudes of 1,500 and 2,500 m, with 100 km of pistes, a snowpark, 2 beginners' zones and 3 high-altitude restaurants. There are also 18 km of pistes for cross-country skiers and 20 km of multi-activity trails for pedestrians.

It is in free access but classified difficult. One via ferrata that derives its name from the waterfall flowing through this place, fed by the torrent of the Glière. Starting from the Bieux area, then follow signs indicating "Cascade of the Fresh" and climbing school. It takes 1 hour to 1 hour 30 rise. With a vertical drop of almost one kilometer, some twenty runs and an accessible ski pass, the Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse resort offers a wide variety of winter sports. It's the "big" downhill ski resort in the Chartreuse massif. Last year, to reduce energy consumption, access to the slopes was via Le Planolet and Combe de l'Ours. For Nordic skiing: 50 km to Saint-Hugues, plus the 25 km round trip Saint-Hugues - Le Sappey - as part of the Chartreuse traverse. In summer, the resort has prepared trails for mountain biking.

Composed of the sectors of Megève and 6 other resorts - Saint-Gervais, Saint-Nicolas de Véroce, Les Contamines-Montjoie Hauteluce, Combloux and La Giettaz - the Evasion Mont-Blanc domain allows skiers to access more than 400 km of trails. Reliefs where mountain pastures, forests and wide open spaces alternate, linked by high-performance equipment. In the summer, the lifts take you up the slopes for a mountain bike ride, a paragliding flight or a hike.

Linked to the one of Molines, the ski area of Saint-Véran offers the largest area of Queyras. At this high altitude, the domain culminates at 2 830 meters, the snow is well present under a sun which allows us to enjoy splendid landscapes. This is the place of meeting on the snow front to know about the activities of the station. The Espace Partenaire is home to the tourist office of the tourist office, ski schools, the possibility of biking-biking, ski club, a medical office, a seminar space… the central and indispensable location of the station for all requests for information, it also has the elegance of wooden constructions.

A place for sharing and raising awareness of nature in an exceptional environment. The building itself is emblematic of the resort, as this former French Alpine Club refuge was the very first guarded refuge in France in 1911. The ski area of these two stations is interconnected and between 1 500 metres and 2 510 metres of altitude: 29 lifts, 60 tracks - 5 black, 16 red, 23 blue and 16 green - 100 km. There are more snow cannons - 80 between 1 500 m and 2 225 m -, a slalom stadium and a new glides - snow scoot and boardercross space. Aussois is a charming ski resort situated between 1500 and 2750m altitude, in the heart of Savoie. It offers a warm and friendly atmosphere, ideal for families. The Aussois French Ski School offers lessons for all levels and ages. With over 55 km of pistes and 11 lifts, there's something for every level of skier. The school has 57 qualified instructors to help you progress and share some great skiing moments. Lessons are available for toddlers from 2.5 years, children, teenagers and adults. Private lessons are also available, as well as alternative activities such as snowboarding, telemark and biathlon. The school also offers attractive family packages and ski lessons at 5 different resorts.

The domaine de Savoie Grand Revard has equipped itself with a ferrata with two courses, one rather difficult, the other extremely difficult. With a 40 metre Himalaya bridge, wooden bridges and monkey bridges, vertige over Chambéry! Don't forget the complete equipment necessary for your safety!

Accessible by funicular from the Grésivaudan valley directly to the Petites Roches plateau in summer. Playground, sports activities, workshops, shows... In winter, you'll need to come by car to enjoy this human-scale ski resort. 5 ski lifts and a dozen runs - including 5 very pleasant red runs in the forest - provide fun for all the family on the slopes of the Chartreuse. At an altitude of 1,500 m, in a wild mountain setting, the village resort of Aiguilles-en-Queyras and the Haut-Guil valley offer a number of slopes to suit all levels. In Aiguilles, a play area with modules for beginners, play areas, a large Air Bag and an original toboggan run. For downhill skiing, head for Abriès and the Haut-Guil ski area (16 runs). For Nordic ski enthusiasts, there are trails leading to Abriès and Ristolas, the lookout point for Mont Viso. Free-riders are also in for a treat.

The "tele-feric" gondolas literally take us off, as we are offered a 2,150 m climb in 45 minutes to reach the summits! From La Grave, this exceptional and vertiginous equipment gives access to the high mountain with its two sections from 1,400 m to 2,400 m and from 2,400 m to 3,200 m. And two summit lifts lead to 3 550 m in winter. If the weather conditions do not prevent it, a connection is then possible in both directions with the big resort of Les Deux-Alpes. And if your technical level allows it, you will soon enjoy one of the largest off-piste skiing areas in Europe. A freerider's paradise. At 3 550 m, the view is exceptional: you can see the Ecrins National Park to the south-southwest, Italy to the east and finally the Mont-Blanc to the north! A breathtaking 360°. The direct itinerary of the 9 km long descent is accessible to skiers of average technical ability, but beware, it is an off-piste run, which implies professional guidance and good equipment. Good snowboarders and the best off-piste skiers have their own privileged spots, however, from the top of the cable car: les Vallons, Peyrou-d'Amont, brèche Pacave, col du Lac and refuge Chancel. For climbing enthusiasts or the simply curious, Châtel offers some remarkable routes! Two sites are available for free climbing: the walls of Plaine Dranse, comprising 23 routes of 5 to 10 meters, and the abseils of the L'Essert waterfall, offering a descent on the left bank with 9 abseils of 30 meters. Detailed guides are available from the tourist office. Under the guidance of qualified instructor Jean-Yves Fredriksen, all climbers are supervised and initiated. Initiation from age 8.

Located by the river, in the heart of the picturesque Gorge landscape, the Nordic Park invites you to explore 25 km of carefully groomed trails, perfect for Nordic skiing. The area includes a free beginner's zone, two specially dedicated green runs, and three trails of varying levels to suit all levels of skier. For those who prefer to diversify their winter activities, snowshoeing, biathlon and even snow golf are available to enrich your experience in this superb environment.

The Cordon ski area includes 5 ski lifts and 10 runs over 11 km. The on-site French ski school will guide you through the beginner and advanced areas. 8 marked snowshoe trails are available free of charge. There's also sledging and dog sledding. Of course, these trails are also accessible in summer. The ski area is part of the Evasion Mont-Blanc ski area, which is always linked by ski-bus shuttle.

The International Ski School, accredited by the French Ministry of Sports, has 95 schools in France, Switzerland and Italy, offering ski, snowboard, skwal and Telemark lessons. Lessons, given by ENSA-trained instructors, are available from Sunday to Friday, mornings for skiing and afternoons for snowboarding, starting at the top of Le Signal. Private lessons, on or off piste, and private days with an instructor are also available.

Professionals who know the Portes du Soleil area inside out and can help you discover its magnificent panorama, on foot, on skis or on mountain bikes. Ulrika and Jean-Luc Tamanini, two guides specialized in medium and high mountains, offer descents of torrents by climbing, ski touring... These experienced guides also organize guided hikes, mountaineering, freeride (skiing, mountain biking), canyoning, hydro-speed, via ferrata and many other mountain sports activities. Espace Moto Neige is simply the largest snowmobile park in the Alps and a team of professionals who will take you on a day and evening discovery of the most beautiful landscapes of Alpe d'Huez with a ride to the summits at 2,500 m altitude. For your comfort, the bikes are equipped with heated seats and handles and foot warmers for the driver and passenger. Nestled in the heart of the Hautes-Alpes, Mush' and Co immerses you in the captivating world of sled dogs, offering both winter and summer activities for your year-round entertainment. You can sign up for an original mountain bike tour on snow, offering three different routes. Every Sunday evening, a free introduction to mountain biking on snow is offered on the Crot piste. Since 2001, Fred and Ghislaine, a couple of passionate mountain guides, have been offering private ski lessons, as well as lessons in climbing, mountaineering, water trekking and even snowshoeing. Their professionalism, combined with their human qualities and mountain ethic, make them ideal guides. Whether you're looking for a waterfall descent in the Balme canyon, a via ferrata in Passy, a ski tour in the Aravis mountains, or of course the inevitable Vallée Blanche descent on skis or mountaineering.

Husky Safari proposes an original activity: the conduct of dog sleds. Like a trapper, go to discover the snowy trails where wild nature reveals its most primary beauty. In the forest, in the middle of the fir, it will be you who will lead the reins and lead the entraînés trained by icy temperatures. Departure takes place from the nearby hamlet of Plantin, but shuttles are available from La Tania.

An extraordinary adventure! Lake Montriond is the^3rd largest lake in Haute-Savoie, after Lake Geneva and Lake Annecy. At an altitude of 1,064 meters, it is 1,320 meters long and 235 meters wide at its widest point and 19 meters deep! Once the ice has formed, you can learn about this activity, surrounded by the best professionals. You can then observe the spectacle of bubbles and water at 2°C. A high mountain guide, Grégory Coubat offers you ski, hiking, off-piste outings and mountaineering activities throughout Maurienne and beyond. At Norma, it invites you to start climbing ice climbing. With caps, reel, rope and crampons, you follow two by two the guide, which prepared you the ground. Formulas for experienced climbers are also possible.

As part of the Portes du Soleil area, Châtel's connection to the Swiss ski area is fairly easy. The Châtel ski area itself offers 41 lifts opening onto 45 pistes located between 1200 and 2200m. Two snowparks will delight freestyle enthusiasts. The free shuttles, for all and even in the evening, allow easy access to the slopes. 60 km of Nordic slopes linked with the resorts of La Chapelle and Abondance, sledging, ski joëring and pedestrian-snowshoe circuits including two educational trails.

Pelvoux-Vallouise is a pleasant village resort at the gateway to the Ecrins National Park. 6 lifts including 2 chairlifts, a vertical drop of 1,050 m, 18 runs including 1 lit for night skiing and 1 snowpark. Off-piste itineraries for experienced skiers and an ARVA/Park area, several ski touring spots, a toboggan run and a natural ice rink. The Vallouise cross-country ski area offers over 35 km of marked and groomed trails, stretching between several villages and along the Onde, Gyr and Gyronde torrents.
