The Roll'air Cable is one of Europe's longest zip lines. The cable is 1.8km long and links the Drouvet summit (2650m) to Lac Long (2500m). Visitors can enjoy a 1min20 journey between heaven and earth as they launch themselves headfirst down the zip line. In summer, good sneakers are recommended for access to the site. Payment is by cash or vacation vouchers only. In winter, the zip line is accessible to skiers (return via the Rochasson red run) and pedestrians (return along a ski run, with walking shoes or shoes suitable for snow). It is open to pedestrians from 9am to 2pm. Allow a 15-minute walk from the end of the zip line to the Télémix de Rocherousse. The zip line is open daily from 01/07 to 03/09/2023 and from 16/12/2023 to 14/04/2024, subject to favorable weather conditions. Tickets can be purchased online.

For 37 years, Les Passagers du Vent has been offering take-offs at La Forclaz. The Talloires-based school, staffed by state-certified instructors, offers tandem paragliding first flights over Lake Annecy and the Aravis mountains all year round. The school also organizes a large number of advanced training courses entitled "cross-country, piloting, ascent progression, autonomous progression and travel" for connoisseurs. On the online website, you can reserve your equipment (for sale or hire). On the ground, the Plancher des Vaches is the perfect place to share a good time over a drink or a plate of food.

Founded in the late 1980s by Didier Maturin, current coach of the French paragliding team (world champions in 2013), this paragliding and hang-gliding school offers introductory tandem flights, enabling students to discover the Arve Valley. From May to mid September, a paragliding school to discover, initiate, advance or train. Flights make you discover the valley and mountains from a different angle. Try after a bi-place flight, an initiation over 3 days for beginners and another 3 days to go further. Think of hot clothes and rising shoes and a medical certificate for paragliding practice. Arches in Heaven also offers mountain sports, live water, via ferrata, canyoning… Technical clothing and sports equipment available at the store.

The great attraction in Saint-Hilaire since the 80's is hang-gliding and now paragliding. The exceptional aerological quality of the site and the professionalism of the instructors have given this school a flawless reputation. Prévol, in addition to initiation and improvement, offers since 1986 the discovery, two-seater paragliding flights - also in wheelchair - for a gentle first flight. The setting is fantastic for your first take-off between the limestone cliffs of Chartreuse and the Belledonne mountain range in the distance.

A fairly versatile address in light aviation, but mainly interested in glider fans. A good, more global idea: the relief and the climate very well suited to it, offering a discovery from the sky of all the countries of the Buëch.

The paragliding school has been based in Embrun for 30 years, but takes off in winter from the resorts of Les Orres and Risoul, and from Mont-Guillaume and Savines in summer. The school caters for all paragliding enthusiasts, with tandem flights over Lac de Serre-Ponçon on offer. The school is accredited by the Fédération française de vol libre. Thrills guaranteed! Created in 2009 by Haut-Savoyard Jean-François Michelin, Bun J Ride is the world's first bungee jumping site. By bike or on foot, alone or in tandem, you can launch yourself from a 28-metre-long springboard anchored in a cliff, for a 40-metre jump with free figures over the torrent. A second Bun J Ride site is open in Tignes during the winter season, offering jumps on snow. There's something for every thrill-seeker!

During the summer season, Flaine welcomes its visitors with the intention of offering them a revitalizing experience. A range of free activities is available, including big air bag, tennis, archery, fitness, bouncy castle, classical music concerts and guided tours of the resort. In collaboration with external partners, the tourist office also offers a wide range of activities throughout the summer, including caving, via ferrata, paragliding, golf, canyoning and more.

The Speed Riding school in Les Arcs poetically evokes the fusion of sky and snow, underlining the privilege of leaving your footprints on a pristine landscape. The school offers introductory days as well as a more in-depth learning program, with the possibility of achieving complete autonomy. You can also discover the Haute-Tarentaise spots by heli-speed. The school provides 15 sailing-harness sets, from 10 to 14 m², adapted to the level of the students.

Riding speed saw the day in Val Frejus, Maurienne and now remains famous for being the best place to learn because the first riding speed school was opened by one of the founders of this sport, named Ataka. Val Fréjus has a beautiful ski area with ski lifts. And is located at 90 km from Albertville, near Modane. It is a small, quiet, family-run resort located in the centre of four national parks. ATAKA founded by Frank Coupat, has paragliding instructors qualified riding speed and all parachute: David Eyraud, Yoan Castagnoli and Jean-Gabriel Thillard. The school has several dozen wings in different sizes, from 8 to 15 m 2 to move from one level to another. For a 5-day course Initial pilot patent (green level), it takes about 450 euros, for the blue level, it takes 10 days and it will cost you 810 euros. And for a day, you will spend about 10 euros.
