Covering an area of almost 10 hectares, Lac de Carouge offers a multitude of activities to suit all tastes, from diving into the water to paddle-boarding adventures. At first light, sports enthusiasts meet up for a morning jog, while idlers look forward to the afternoon. The shores of Lac de Carouge offer an ideal haven of peace, between sunny beaches and hiking trails.

This open-air facility offers 3.5 hectares of lawns and green spaces surrounding the two outdoor pools heated to 27°C - an Olympic pool and a learning pool - and a lake swimming area - awarded the Blue Flag in 2021 - with diving board, floating pontoons and water games. A children's playground and a 160-meter slide for older children. Multiple services in addition: water ski school, swimming lessons and, of course, bar and restaurant. With Lake Geneva as its playground, the Sciez nautical base offers great leisure time for the whole family. Optimist, catamaran, handivoile, rowing, canoe-kayak, stand-up paddle, all disciplines are open, especially to the youngest ones from 4 years old, with only one word of order: pleasure! Located opposite the mythical Dent du Chat mountain, which culminates at an altitude of 1,390 m, it is a place where legends are told... It is a place where it is good to recharge your batteries. You can choose between grass or sand, in the shade of large trees or in the sun... The lake offers a very different view here and the footbridges and promenades are ideal for daydreaming and strolling to better enjoy the landscape to the sound of the lapping water. Be careful, however, it is difficult in the summer to find a parking space.

This is the public beach on the east side of the lake, much appreciated by residents of Annecy for its green setting and high-quality environment. Just a stone's throw from the town center and close to the Impérial, this beach is one of the most renowned in the area. With its 12,000^m2 of fine sand, clean water, diving boards and waterslide, sports fields and play areas, the spacious, planted and flower-filled beach offers a family atmosphere much appreciated by bathers and strollers alike. Showers, changing rooms, bar and self-service restaurant. So, as soon as the first rays of sunshine appear, don't hesitate to head for the beach! Numerous restaurants nearby.

Three small artificial lakes in a family-friendly leisure park. They are dedicated to fishing, swimming and windsurfing respectively. At the end of the last lake, a bird observatory is available for walkers. In summer, the three lakes are a popular local cool spot, with bar-restaurant and evening entertainment. This multi-sport site features a fitness trail on the imperial road leading to the lakes, a nearby climbing spot and themed trails to discover the local flora and fauna.

Right in the heart of the village, with gently sloping access for children, this first ecological lake open to bathing in France is untouched by concrete architecture. Water at between 19° and 26°C, heated by the sun, aquatic plants that filter the water, a water jet and a small cascading stream ensure impeccable water quality. This 100% ecological lake is one of the most beautiful in the Alps, preserving the beauty of the natural environment! Cold water swimming is also available in winter. Access to this renowned and formerly private beach is now free. Close to Le Pâquier and L'Impérial, this grassy, supervised beach is directly accessible from the bike path, and is a great place to meet up with family - supervised beach - and friends. There are plenty of facilities to make the most of a day by the lake, with your feet in the water: slides (depending on the lake's water level, which can be too low in high season), inflatable games, mini-golf, a paddling pool for the little ones, beach volleyball and badminton courts for sports enthusiasts, and a lawn for relaxing sunbathing. Of all the public and municipal beaches lining Lake Annecy, let's start with one of the closest and most accessible from the town center (by bike path and public transport): the Plage des Marquisats. Here, every effort is made to ensure the comfort and safety of users, with lifeguards on hand to supervise swimming. Floating wheelchairs are available for people with reduced mobility to facilitate their access to the water. Sanitary facilities and snack bar on site.

On the edge of the lake, a wooded area of 3 hectares is equipped with heated pools (4 pools including an Olympic pool of 50 meters), a paddling pool with a play area, a water slide of 100 meters, diving boards from 1 meter to 10 meters, a restaurant, a rental point and sailing lessons, a multi-games area (beach volleyball ...). You can also swim directly in the lake thanks to a special access. This leisure center is located near the port of Rives.

Over 30 years' experience, supervision and equipment to make the most of the surrounding torrents, with most white-water activities: rafting, hydrospeed, hot-dog - inflatable canoe - or canyoning. This experienced office also organizes hiking tours to discover the flora and fauna, as well as via ferrata and quad biking. From the Durance to the Ubaye, via the Drac leisure park, the range is wide. We advise you to book a full day or even an adventure weekend.

the bathing lake, at the heart of the Parc de Loisirs du Pontet, offers a wide range of activities: donkey hire, polar dog park, kayaking, rowing and pedal boats, climbing, equestrian center, adventure trail, tennis, golf, miniature golf, archery, quads, beach volleyball, children's games, pedal horses, walks and picnics... A beautiful setting for the whole family. In the heart of the park, the Chalet du Lac restaurant welcomes you all year round for a delicious meal.

A privileged setting with a breathtaking view of the valley and the Chablais massif! In this Geopark of the Chablais, mountains often rhyme with lake and pure water. So, we take advantage of it to relax in this mountain lake where, in summer, the average temperature of the water can reach 22°C! To rent on the spot: chair, meridian and parasol. At your disposal: water slide, beach volleyball and multi-sports field. Inflatable water park and kidspark on a part of the lake.

Located in the bed of the Durance, on the municipalities of Curbans and La, this artificial lake was bottled in 1975 by EDF. The water plan is also fed by the water from the leak canal of the electricity production plant which flows into upstream. A 17-metre dam, used to regulate the waters of the Sisteron canal, was built downstream. You can stay in one of the two campsites on the East Bank, on the side of Cubans. Fishing is permitted in certain sectors (see conditions), like canoeing and bathing. Côté la Saulce, its west bank, consists of a relatively steep land dike. During migration in April-May and August-September, many naturist settled and observed birds with long views. The north bank has a relatively quiet plateau.

Facing Mont Blanc, the Passy leisure center offers a multitude of activities. A fine sand beach to access the supervised swimming area and large green spaces, sunny or shaded, to stroll or have fun. The view is magnificent. On the spot, you can enjoy beach volleyball and petanque pitches, a walking or cycling circuit around the lake, a health course and various activities (tree climbing, boating, mini-golf...). The lake of Castillon is 8 kilometers long and covers 500 hectares, set between the mountains. Under a blue sky (most of the time) the setting is splendid. A great number of nautical activities are practiced such as kayak, catamaran, water skiing, towed buoy... Night trips are also organized in canoe for the adventurous. Irresistible, with turquoise water, some beaches are equipped and supervised for the pleasure of young and old. Don't hesitate to explore the wild shores and to stop in some of the exotic creeks.

It is one of the largest and most frequented beaches by young people and families in summer, who easily extend the swim with an improvised picnic on the lawns punctuated by clumps of trees to preserve themselves from a sun that would become too untimely. The sand and gravel bay allows children to walk several meters and its rocky peninsula attracts those who wish to swim more quietly in the distance.

Thonon-les-Bains has received the France Nautical Station label. Rated 4 stars, for the quality of its activities on Lake Geneva and the rivers: sports, cruises, discovery of the heritage and various nautical animations. The marina of Rives welcomes 740 boats for annual rental and keeps 58 places for visitors. Nearby, the municipal beach. The natural beaches of the Pinède and the Châtaigneraie de Rovorée, downstream; the fishing port upstream.

A beautiful beach on the Lake Aiguebelette with many activities. Boat rental with pedals with slides, canoes, electric boats, boats and water games including large diving board of 3 m. Close to the port, the beach at Aiguebelette-le-Lac is a small oasis with lifeguard surveillance during the summer season, and a picnic area. This stretch of sand also offers a variety of water sports equipment and boats for hire. Open from April onwards, it offers an early taste of summer, allowing visitors to savor the surrounding landscape. The lake is distinguished by its unique turquoise-blue color, offering a soothing visual spectacle.
