Start your journey from Notre-Dame-de-Bellecombe by venturing towards Plan Désert. Follow the marked trail past the chairlift stations until you reach Bellastat. Climb to the summit of Mont de Vorès, then descend towards Col de Basse Combe. From here, fork left and follow the course of the small stream. Walk along its waters until you reach the parking lot. This loop offers breathtaking views of the Aravis mountains.

Arnaud and Jessica open the doors of their educational mini-farm to let you discover their world, the mountain lifestyle and the specificities of each animal. Chickens, geese, pigs, rabbits, goats, sheep and donkeys! With the latter, they even offer to go on a hike for an hour or even several days, if you feel like a little more adventure and bivouac. Recently, there is even an artisanal donkey milk soap factory here. A whole program!

We know Flumet, a village perched at an altitude of 900 m, for its resort of Flumet-Saint-Nicolas-la-Chapelle, but perhaps a little less for its lake which is equipped for swimming during the summer. You can enjoy a relaxing day in a green setting and take advantage of the sports facilities and games for children at the Arrondine leisure area. The leisure centre even has its own highlight in summer with the water festival during the^third week of July: entertainment, games and music are in full swing (ask at the tourist office).

Between the waters of the Bourget lake and the mountains, it is on the northern bank that you can discover new panoramas, where nature is wilder... A touch of romanticism for some, in the wake of Alphonse de Lamartine who stayed in Aix-les-Bains for a while, in any case, calm and sweetness for others.. Weather permitting, why not come and explore this easily accessible tourist trail? It's an ideal half-day hike for children, lasting around two hours for the short version (otherwise, allow around four hours for the slightly longer version). The trail, which is both fun and partly forested, reveals some astonishing geological formations. But that's not all, as you can also enjoy magnificent panoramic views from the Leysse plateau, as well as alpine landscapes. The mountain reveals many facets, and on a clear day you can even see Mont Blanc. In any case, this hike offers a real journey back in time, to the era of tannes (chasms), dolines (circular hollows) and glacières, natural chasms where ice accumulated. This was particularly convenient for the inhabitants of Les Aillons, who used to cut up the ice and take it down by mule to sell it in town via the Col de la Verne. If you look carefully, you may still be able to see ice at the bottom of some of these chasms. In winter, the itinerary can also be covered on snowshoes or cross-country skis, but it's essential to follow the trail, as the holes and chasms are not as visible - and there are plenty of them in this region.

There are many lakes in the mountains, but these stand out as particularly good fishing spots. Located beneath the Etendard glacier, these two natural lakes with their small facilities are a must for fishing enthusiasts. Access to these sites presents no particular difficulties. What makes them so attractive is the presence of four species of salmonids. However, it is imperative to respect the regulations and only catch fish of the authorized size!

Les Mottets beach is a real gem, popular with locals and visitors alike. Its modern facilities and well-designed amenities make it an ideal spot for a relaxing getaway or a pleasant stroll. Visitors can take part in regular educational workshops to learn more about this fascinating species. Following this loop, you'll cross the leisure park and skirt the lake, discovering lively moments, sublime panoramas and moments of tranquillity. Once you've completed the hike, fishing, mountain biking, games for all ages and picnics offer a multitude of options at your fingertips.

Through woods and pastures, with wide paths and steep gradients, this route will delight thrill-seekers. It offers an exploration of the alpine pastures of the Vallée des Avals, beginning with a sustained ascent along a forest path to the Col de la Plata. Further on, a path leads to the Grand Plan refuge, ending on a forest track. This picturesque itinerary allows you to enjoy the whistling of the marmots. The starting point, at an altitude of 1,724 meters, is the Granges parking lot in Courchevel 1650.

The comfort walk is for everyone, offering an easy and accessible family outing. Nestled in the Beaufortain massif, this itinerary takes place near Lac de Saint-Guérin. Right from the start, you'll be captivated by the panoramic view of the Saint-Guérin dam. The long walk along the lake will then lead you to an impressive 80-meter-long footbridge, overhanging the lake by more than 20 meters. This trail is available outside the snowy season.

Le Mariet d'Arith and its charming lake offer a pleasant summer walk, perfect for the whole family. In winter, the itinerary changes completely with snowshoes. From Arith to Montagny, once at the chapel, turn left onto the tarmac road leading to a large parking lot. Follow the signs, cross the road for about 20 minutes, then turn right after a bend, passing through the forest. At the crossroads, turn right. A sign indicates the lake.

Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of the Golf Club de Courchevel, a veritable challenge nestled at an altitude of 2,000 meters in the heart of majestic mountains. With a nine-hole course spanning 1,400 meters, this jewel offers a technical challenge for golf enthusiasts in search of adventure. How about a breath of fresh air on the banks of the Giffre? From the beautiful blue lake of Morillon, you can follow a well-maintained and marked path that leads you to the lake of Samoëns: the Lac aux Dames. This itinerary without difficulties will lead you to the water's edge and in the forest, with magnificent views on the surrounding summits, such as the famous Criou and Pic Marcelly. A footbridge at the end of the route will announce your arrival in Samoëns. It will take you about 1h30 to do the round trip.

Morzinois have two skating rinks in winter: one, covered, in the Parc des Dérêches sports complex where the swimming pool is located; the other, in the open air, in the center of the village. The latter allows families to have a great time after skiing. Its size of 30 meters by 15 is enough to accommodate the influx of holidaymakers. For space lovers who like to skate at high speed to wild rhythms, the covered skating rink will suit them. Its 56 m by 26 m surface is used for training by the Pingouins, Morzine's field hockey team.
