Organised by the association Les Amis du Four du Mitan, this animation celebrates bread, with demonstration of wheat pressing, blessing of breads, tastings and sales of local products, Provençal meals, in a mood of the beginning of the century, with groups of traditional costumes.

At the initiative of the Fédération des Syndicats de producteurs de l'appellation Châteauneuf-du-Pape, this wine fair is organised every spring in April. There are 80 to 85 estates of the appellation, we discover the great diversity of Châteauneuf wines. Thematic workshops to perfect your knowledge of wine are organized within the show. The 11th edition will be held at the beginning of April!

This festival combines wine tasting with a musical concert in exceptional places. For its 11th edition, sixty concerts are scheduled in forty prestigious estates, from the Var to the Aix region, including the castles of Fonscolombe, Beaupré, Seuil or La Gaude and even in the Luberon. The musical program is eclectic, always of high quality and often the occasion of beautiful surprises, from jazz to classical music through world music. Installed in comfortable deckchairs, you can dream under a starry sky.

It is the most festive event of the year during which the town is transformed to celebrate lavender, this small blue flower, the city's emblem. For the occasion, between 10,000 and 15,000 people attend the event each year. On the menu: parades by day and by night with decorated and illuminated flower floats, musical demonstrations, costumes and cultural demonstrations by international groups, fireworks displays, fairground, bowls competitions, garage sale, festival dance... Since 1900, lavender has made Digne les Bains and the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence the leading producer of lavender and lavandin in the region. During the celebration, also attend demonstrations of distillation of this fragrant plant and leave with a few sprigs of lavender whose sweet scent will long perfume your drawers and cupboards.

Since 1971, every year in July at the Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer and Domaine Paul Ricard in Méjanes (near Arles), the Horse Festival is taking place. This Feria of the horse brings together the greatest equestrian artists (Lucien Gruss, for example) and the horse becomes king on flamenco air. The programme is wide (show sound and light, bullfighting… on horseback, contests, demonstrations of equestrian art and Du, all on music background (wineries, peñas, bandas…). It is the annual rendez-vous of all chevaux and camarguaise culture: this clearly means thousands of people!

The association for the preservation of heritage and knowledge of the Seillonnaise tradition organizes a day around the harvest, with the hype of wheat to the roll of stone, cooking in a traditional oven and making unleavened bread.

He was believed to have made a cross on the Basket Day after his disappearance in 2014. So the surprise was put in 2015 when he returned. Finally, because it has not been fully understood whether it has kept its name so dear to the Balearic Islands, or whether it is now called the'Summer Day '. In the past, 20 editions were born with a general mobilization of the inhabitants and thousands of people coming to attend. In the streets and squares of the Moulin, du Refuge, Pistoles, the inhabitants sell drinks and specialities from their culture (samossas, Provencal pie, cakes.) and drinks of all kinds. Together with the associations they create an extraordinary event that attracts an incredible crowd to dance to detonating rhythms, play in family the afternoon thanks to various animations: games, initiation dance and others (hip hop, zumba, boxing, juggling, creative workshops…), street shows, show, ball, creations of craftsmen's workshops through the streets and squares of the shopping cart. An absolute need!

For years, a team of volunteers has been working hard to ensure the success of this cultural event. It takes place in the heart of the village. With around a hundred authors of all genres (literary, regional, thrillers, comics, travelers...), critics and journalists are always present. And then there are the readings and conferences held in courtyards shaded by plane mulberry trees. The event closes with a friendly glass of Côtes du Rhône wine, offered by local winemakers.

Lapalud is a humid plain which, at one time, was covered with fields of mulberry, madder and vines.

One day, a Lapalutian brought back sorghum seeds from the neighboring countryside which he planted on his property. Its cultivation was imposed, its flexible straw is very easy to handle and the inhabitants started to shape it and to use it as a broom. In the 1920's, Lapalud had four broom-making establishments; the sunny holidaymakers who travelled on the N7 used to stop there to buy them (Luis Mariano or Jean Nohain would have been seen there). But the glory of this small village disappeared the day when the Ponts et Chaussées had to divert the N7 which bypasses the town: no more brooms, brushes, feather dusters. Also arrived on the market the competition of the Eastern countries, the setting in circulation of the broom "heather of roadman" (the broom of witch) and the vacuum cleaner.

Since 2015, the municipality and the festival committee organize the first weekend of June the festival of brooms which includes a colorful foot race with or without broom, a petanque competition, a hike, musical entertainment and aperitifs. A convivial moment guaranteed.
