Its name simply means Place of the Monks. The abbey was founded in the 6th century. In this religious stronghold, the visitor will be surprised to find only a contemporary church. It must be said that the two previous twin constructions, the church of Saint-Sauveur and the chapel of Saint-Colomban, were in such a dilapidated state in the middle of the village that in 1975 they had to be destroyed. They were therefore replaced by this building with beautiful modern lines. Inside, however, an altar made of carved, painted and gilded wood and old stained-glass panels depicting the life of Saint Colomban, patron saint of the parish, have been preserved.
