The medieval town of Guémené, located on the banks of the Scorff, is famous for its rich heritage. The town is made up of well-preserved old houses, half-timbered houses, terraced gardens and the Seneschal's house, which are all vestiges of the Middle Ages. The "Petite Cité de Caractère" is also, and above all, known for its culinary speciality: andouille! A festival is dedicated to it every year in August. On the programme: concerts, fest-noz, producers' and craftsmen's market, boules competition, not forgetting the restaurant part which celebrates the local sausage preparation, of course!
