The two former villages Noyal-sur-Seiche and Châtillon-sur-Seiche joined together to do one in 1933. Crossed by the Seiche, a tributary of the Vilaine, it is good to walk along its banks all the more so as the walks are numerous. Nevertheless, the charm of this village is its picturesque houses and its heritage. Indeed, you will first discover the church Saint Martin built in the fifteenth century: you can stop in front of the entrance of the Morandière Doors, at the corner of a chapel and the choir on the North Wall. You will also be able to continue your journey and see the Cross to the monkeys, namely the cross of the graveyard in granite of the fifteenth century, carved with a Christ and a Virgin bearing the Child Jesus in his arms. His name comes from his base on which a round of seven monkeys climbed on his back. Finally, you will find another church built on a feudal moodle: it is Romanesque and keeps a crypt dedicated to Saint Leonard. In the surrounding area you will see the Manor of the Seventeenth century, that of Mouillemusse of the eighteenth century surrounded by moss. Finally, the hall of the Salle in Saint Erblon has the characteristic of possessing high-grade roofs characteristic of the seventeenth century. On the spot, come and enjoy the market every Sunday morning, Place Pierre-Croc or try a walk between Seiche and Vilaine to enjoy the region fully. Walking tours and a bicycle map available at the tourist office will allow you to enjoy nature, historical heritage and multiple havens of peace.
