The chef Michel Mahé and his team conjugate four verbs at all tenses and all modes: to renew, to search, to associate, to decorate. The à la carte menu and the slate menus evolve according to the season and the market and offers a selection that first seduces seafood lovers: Breton lobster according to the daily market arrival, scallops with warty venus juice, monkfish roasted with vegetable coal... Let us return on land with a suckling veal sweetbread with honey and orange or a piglet rack with seeds of Meaux on the last autumn menu. The dishes presentation deserves a special mention. The house combines tradition and contemporary touches. The pleasure of this beautiful address is prolonged in the lovely garden at the back of the restaurant.

The young chef Gwenaël Lavigne endorsed a quote from Ducasse in honour of simplicity as a new cuisine luxury. As a result, it is a refined cuisine, yet subtle, that she offers in her modern restaurant located in the heart of Saint-Brieuc, a few steps from the train station. The food is inventive and you will find dishes that are not necessarily traditional when going through the menu. Let us mention for example the nice smoked pork with beech wood, fruit salad dry mustard  and herbs, or the crust roast loin of lamb from pecan, juice reduced to anise. Rest assured, the seafood are also present, with the seasons. Pleasant welcome in the 2 rooms with a total capacity of 30 seats.

From its promontory, Aux Pesked (fish in Breton) overlooks the Gouët valley. Mathieu Aumont, who runs this astonishing Michelin-starred restaurant with his partner Sophie, sublimates the products of the Bay of Saint-Brieuc to perfection: abalone, scallops, but also vegetables and aromatic herbs... The menu changes every month. Examples: wild abalone with sweet potatoes or pig from the Argoat region with woodland mushroom gravy. The wine cellar offers a good selection of wines, so let us advise you. The decor with sixties accents is modern and original.

For almost 25 years, this restaurant has been visited by those who love good food. Master Restaurateur since 2010, Jean-Michel Bourges takes care of the reception in the same way as he does for sweetbreads, scallops or foie gras. The place is well known by its customers for its good fish and crustacean. The cellar is very good, the reception is warm and the service is efficient.

Here, we cook with loving care. No gastronomy. But a generous and precise grub. From time, too. It is in an old haberdashery that you can perch to eat - while standing or sitting in a comfortable armchair. The decor of the room - with its lovely tables - is at least unexpected. With a family atmosphere is both a restaurant and a tea room where you can have breakfast while enjoying one of the 26 teas on the menu (all homemade). At lunchtime, two dishes for 13.90 € or three courses (17.90 €) when you don't want to miss dessert: crumble with apples, brownies, tart of the day, gourmet coffee. A lovely restaurant where you are satisfied. In the gastronomic landscape of Brieuc, Arbalaise has always been a meeting point where people used to come to feed with a domestic cuisine. And then, what is new in here? L'Arbalaise (the name of a pig's part, the double rib) has been taken over by Mathieu Aumont, the chef of Aux Pesked. In the kitchen, which opens slightly onto the room, a team is busy at task under his watchful eyes, from time to time to ensure that its annex goes on as he wants. In principle, he has not changed the habits of loyal customers of this famous restaurant nestled behind the Post Office. A daily special and suggestions that vary daily for a bill at lunch which does not exceed €15 for starter, main course and dessert. On the menu, avocado soup, shrimps, beef bourguignon... Only great classics of everyday's cuisine however revised and corrected by a chef whose talent has been increasing in recent years.

The bar is located in the extension of Gouëdic Street, near the Sainte-Thérèse church. This original establishment is a must! Pierre and Pierre developed the concept of bar with soups since 2006. On the menu, homemade soups and cream soups (€4 to €8, take-away if you wish); but also slices of bruschettas bread, salad meals and grilled meats (chicken brochette, prawns skewers...) are available. A different special is offered each noon. A terrace awaits you by the garden side. This restaurant has a warm atmosphere, especially during aperitifs concerts and thematic evenings, organised about twice a month. The decor is done with original retrieved materials, the atmosphere is young, student evenings are organised and sports events are broadcasted on big TV screens.
