Located in the far south of the Yonne department, Treigny borders Saint-Amand-en-Puisaye in the Nivernais region, with the Loire River only a few kilometers away. Although this village of 800 souls is not (by any means!) the most densely populated in the region, its surface area is particularly extensive, with numerous hamlets and villages. Above all, this village, which is particularly rich in forests and waterways, is home to many of the region's must-see sites, including Guédelon, Château de Ratilly, Parc de Boutissaint, and the church of Saint-Symphorien, also known as the "cathedral of Puisaye", located in the heart of the village.
