Some fifteen kilometers west of Saïdia, the seaside town of Ras El Ma, also known as Cap-de-l'eau, is destined to become a major tourist attraction in the near future. In summer, Moroccans love its breathtaking wild beaches, hemmed in by transparent waters. It's also a great place to stroll around the port, which offers a breathtaking view of the Zaffarines Islands, a Spanish territory claimed by Morocco. The port is lined with restaurants serving fresh fish and shellfish. The town is famous for its delicious charcoal-grilled sardines.
