Founded in 1845 by Marshal Bugeaud, who wanted to supply the soldiers who were cantoned in newly constructed barrels in this creek, the small town (formerly Nemours) whose current name means "conquest" is protected by the Traras and slopes covered with pine and cypress. His beach is monitored by the Two Brothers, two rocks that emerge from the water and were two brothers under the Romans when the city was called Ad Fratres. It has undergone an important industrial development and it is from there via Tounane that we have access to beautiful beaches…Along the coast road to the west, one of the most beautiful is: Marsa Bem M 'Hidi, near the mouth of the Kiss, which is still called Port-Say or Moscarda, is so close to the border that it shares its sand with the Moroccan beach of Saïdia. On the way, you can also choose to stop at Ouled Benaïl or Bieder.
