A jewel of rural tourism. This very picturesque and steep village of the Western Rhodopes aligns its historical houses of traditional architecture. A jewel! The houses have been restored and rehabilitated into guest houses one after the other by those who had deserted them to work in town. Nearly twenty houses are open to guests. In summer, Leshten becomes a base camp for hikers on the surrounding trails. From here, you can see the valley and the Pirin mountain. At the top of the village, there is an astonishingly beautiful African-style mud house.
