Welcome to the capital of "Little Macedonian Switzerland"! Berovo is neither a chocolate factory nor a bank with dubious practices. Berovo owes its nickname to its beautiful rolling countryside and clean air. This reputation suits it well, as the capital of the Maleševo region has become a major "nature" destination. Hundreds of holiday homes and chalets are available for rent here. While some of the "wild" corners have lost a little of their authenticity, the surrounding mountains offer plenty of space to recharge your batteries as you walk through thick forests of beech, pine and oak. You can also eat well, swim, mountain bike... To prepare your stay, you'll find plenty of information on two websites: the municipality's tourism website (visitberovo.mk) and that of local tourism professionals(berovoadventure.com). Both are in English, but not very up-to-date.
