This is one of our favorites on the Austvågøya archipelago. Off the coast of Svolvær, the island of Skrova is a jewel. A little nugget that we call the Hawaii of Lofoten. Its waters are turquoise, its sand white and its mountains climb through beautiful paths before offering a captivating view. In the past, Skrova, a real fishing eldorado, was the meeting place of the elite. Here lived the greatest Norwegian fortunes. Today, still a very good fisherman, Skrova has other assets. Only 200 inhabitants, two bars and restaurants, and yet very much alive. Culture, and especially photography, is an integral part of the island. Hanging on the fish dryer on the harbor, on the stones of the tunnel or on the walls of the restaurant Fotobrygga, the photo participates in telling the story of the island and of Northern Norway, adding a touch of culture where you don't expect it. And Skrova's energy doesn't stop there, as it hosts a host of artists every year for the Skrova Festival. The music takes over the island for 24 hours. From the harbor to the lighthouse, the spectators move from place to place during the concerts
