This district is made up of two natural islands to the east of the city, between Abu Dhabi Mall and Saadiyat Island, linked to the capital by several bridges: Reem and Maryah. Reem is a residential area with many high-rise buildings. Over the years, it has become a sought-after area for modern, quiet, light-filled apartments. The Sorbonne Abu Dhabi is located here. Maryah covers 114 hectares and is home to two luxury hotels, the Rosewood and the Four Seasons, a shopping mall, Cleveland Hospital and numerous restaurants. Together, these islands form Abu Dhabi's new business center.
